"It was our annual family getaway and Mercure Penang Beach ticked off most of the checkboxes except a few! The room was great with a fantastic view of the sea. A nice pool and the beach just in front was wonderful. However, we faced few issues with service. On the first day after the check-in, they seemed to have misplaced our luggage. It took a couple of hours and multiple calls to the front desk to finally get our luggages in the room.Also the housekeeping could be a bit more thorough as both the shampoo and the toilet paper were out in the bathroom and we had to call the front desk to get replacement."

"Room i choose was excellent, hotel restaurant staffs were very professional. And surprisingly there's a beautiful front desk staff that can speak my language too. Anyway no need to think if i go to Penang again, this is the only one hotel i would stay."

"Very enjoyable stay. Obviously very busy with the start of school holidays in Malaysia and lots of visitors but still managed to find little areas of peace & sunbeds by the pool! Staff all excellent and friendly - common areas clean and enjoyable to relax in. Facilities good - the main restaurant and "Pizzeria" very clean, good food & lovely staff. Swimming pools good with areas for families (ie kids) and adults. Splash area was looking a little worn with the underfoot surface degraded but not unexpected considering the heavy use. Breakfast amazing. Good quality and enough to go round even when it was at its most craziest! Only thing I'll say is please make more teh tarik - it always ran out by 9am and no top up. Room great (we had a seaview) - large clean and had all the storage we needed and amenities (two bottles of water a day & tea/ coffee making facility). TV entertainment brilliant with plenty of movies and TV shows available. Overall very happy and look forward to staying again!"

"This is my 2nd time . It's very kids friendly and convenient for elderly people in terms of the amenities.walking distance to feringgi nite market.hawker stalls are nearby.the most, kids love the swimming pools and enjoyed the beach. breakfast buffet was awesome."

"A beautiful retreat on the sea with lush gardens and wonderful facilities. We stayed in the rasa wing and was worth the added extras. The food and service and location were excellent."
