"The staff working at reception spoke good English and were friendly. We were especially impressed with Jeronimo who deserves a mention. Our tub had a leak, so we were unable to use it. Our shower had very low water pressure. We tried to watch Netflix, but the internet kept dropping signal and would freeze or drop signal altogether. We felt the 2 hotel restaurants were way overpriced for what you get, but there are many other restaurant options if you walk around, some more reasonably priced than others . I enjoyed snorkeling at the site and if a person isn’t an experienced snorkeller, the water is very shallow, you could almost stand anywhere in the sheltered area. There are lots of fish around the barricaded area. For swimming, use the pool , too shallow in the ocean. "

"Overall, the experience was good. However, I was not impressed with the room—it did not match the pictures and could definitely use some remodeling and maintenance. The room had a noticeable old smell, which might be unpleasant for people who are sensitive to odors. There was also quite a bit of noise coming through the door from housekeeping and people walking in the hallway. It wasn’t terrible, but since we had little ones the noise was sometimes disturbing, especially when they were trying to rest. On the positive side, there was a great variety of food and desserts. The environment was enjoyable, and the unlimited drinks were a nice bonus. The pool is quite large, but it still felt overcrowded. By around 10 a.m., all the poolside and beachside seats and umbrellas were already taken. "

"Excellent location. Facility was clean and well maintained. The amenities in the room were a disappointment. 3 hangers 2 small towels the kitchen chair literally fell apart. The outside chairs on the patio were extremely uncomfortable the bedsheets did not fit. They were very quick to fix chair and tend to the AC. "

"This place was great! Honestly, we read the bad reviews of this place too, and I would fully defend against them and/or didn’t agree with them at all. I would say the negative ones say more about the reviewer than the resort. The room was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was professional, hardworking, and sweet. The food and drinks were very good, and the nightly entertainment you’d be lucky to see! I will recommend this place, and come back some day for sure! "

"When booking this stay I did not know it was an apartment and asked for a refund because l was traveling solo and did not want to book an air bnb. The owner denied me of my refund stating it says it in the booking, but it did not state this info. Also they did not provide any face towels. I was told they lived next door. For sanitary reasons and since they live close I did not think getting a face towel would be an issue and was told they aren't a hotel (which I thought l had booked). They advertise the pool in the photos, but you do not have access to it staying in room number one. The walls are very thin and l could hear all the noise from the neighbors and could not sleep. I left after the first night because of the noise. I went on vacation for peace and quiet, but this was not the right place for that. The place was clean. The location is good. From past reviews the owners will have a rebuttal, but this is my honest opinion. This was not the stay I was looking for. "
