A decent hotel
We were very happy with our stay. Friendly staff, clean room, free parking , within walking distance to the barbour area and other spots of interest. Good value for the room rate.

Glad to have discovered this hotel
In all honesty. I was skeptical about the quality of the hotel at first based on the appearance from the outside and was proven wrong. The hotel is decent with clean rooms and is spacious. Location is good, just outside is the hanshin shopping center and is walking distance to glory pier and love river. Plenty of good food nearby. Service staffs are available until 11pm after which you may call them if you need any assistance. They are responsive and helpful. The rates are one of the cheapest in the district and definitely worth staying.

Staff doesn't speak English and black hair could be found everywhere in the room. Behind the window was a wall so no view. The walls of the room looked terrible with wholes and cracks.

It is a good location, the staff is nice, the breakfast ok. Internet is very fast. the walls have a lot of marks and the room a little bare however it is big. For two nights I did not want to ask to change room maybe they have nicer rooms which were not available.

We are staying at the Lion King for various times. In this review, I would like to talk about their breakfast. It is quite basic but one thing we like is their various vegetable dishes. If you wish to try different vegetables cooked in local style, here you go.

Value for Money
Room is clean & staff is friendly. It is a budget hotel within our expectation. The hotel is closed to the 205 bus route which takes you to Kaohsiung Station and Dream Mall. The closest stop to the hotel is Xintian Road Intersection 新田路口. It is about 5 minutes walk to the hotel. There are a lot of shopping within a 7 minutes walk from Xintian Road Intersection stop close to the Central Park direction. If they price is the same, I would love to stay again at this hotel.

Nice, but smoky room
The staff was great and the room was pleasantly decorated and clean---and comfortable. When we checked into the room, we had no complaints, but after we left and came back in the evening, the room smelled of lingering cigarette smoke and irritated our lungs.

My family and I always stay here whenever we go to kaohsiung. The rooms are big and comfy and the wifi is good. A good value for money.

Good location
Location good. The receptions was very helpful, breakfast simple & nice although almost everyday the same a bit boring. Room is clean & bright. Only the addition bed not very comfortable. It have fold edge.

Each floor has a colour. Stayed on 5th floor n all the rooms are pink. Service is good. Breakfast is different everyday. When we told them we had to leave early, they packed a lovely takeaway brekkie for us.

Lovely quiet stay
We loved our stay - the hotel was lovely and bright, clean and friendly. The shower is fantastic. There's free coffee and cookies downstairs, and spare toiletries like toothbrushes, which was a nice touch. Hualien isn't a big city, but there's some good food nearby (especially at the night market) and nice to be near the sea. It was the perfect base from which to visit Taroko Gorge, which was our plan - just a bus ride away.

Cute hotel
Very nice small hotel. We got a very inexpensive and nice little room. The breakfast was included but very local cuisine. I was very happz with the room and enjoyed my stay. Checkin is 24/7

Check-in時大概14:30，櫃檯要求客人要等到15:00整才能入住（人生第一次遇到）。房間擺兩張床，只提供一個棉被，聯絡櫃檯補棉被時，櫃檯竟然說沒棉被的那一張床是給客人的優惠，電話上語氣真是讓人感到很不舒服，整體來說連服務最低標準都達不到。不會有第二次入住。

親愛的入住時間是三點唷，因為前一晚也是客滿狀態所以房間都在趕房是需要等待沒有辦法提前上樓，因房務人員房間整理完之後是需要再次檢查後才會讓客人上樓入住，實在不好意思讓您等待。 床的部分因為您訂的房間是一般雙人一大床，有免費升等為四人大房空間，故無額外再提供多一床的床上用品僅有提供鋪底，如您有不好的住宿體驗在此向您致歉這邊會再改善服務細節及溝通上改善，感謝您提供寶貴的意見，祝您順心。

輕裝漫步旅行的好選擇
位在中央公園捷運站與光榮碼頭之間，步行各約十多分鐘，適合輕旅行。房間寬敞，寢具還滿舒適；浴室、洗手間空間也算大，不過淋浴間沒有防滑墊，水再加上沐浴時的泡沫，地板止滑度不太夠。隔壁房客出入時房門闔上的聲音比較大，除此之外整體都滿不錯，櫃檯人員也十分親切。
