The front-desk staff was so rigid with the check-in time of 3pm so we had to wait for another 15 minutes in the lobby area after we travelled through Kaoshiung heat-wave and we feel very sick at the time and looked weak and pale. The front-desk / reception staff did not show any compassion and friendly / smiling greeting when we arrived as well. She put us in the lobby for 15 minutes until 3pm...crazy and so inflexible approach.

Spacious and stylish hotel! Close to TRA & MRT station. Really enjoyed the stay itself… but the area around the hotel just isn’t great. Besides the 7-11 nearby, food options are limited.

The hotel's location is superb. Room was so spacious and clean. We especially love the lobby and common area. They made an effort with the room's decor as well. However, the Kaoshiung train station is undergoing a major upgrading so the noise during daytime was bad. Hotel provided ear plugs for us and it was very thoughtful. Other than the noise from the construction, our stay was wonderful.

Good staff service and hotel room. Breakfast is not good due to no choices for food or drink. Inconvinence to walk feom the nearby station to the hotel during construction around the station areas.

Convenient location near Kaohsiung station, Staff were polite and the rooms were clean - and that’s pretty much all that was good about this experience. The entire hotel reeks of potpourri - smells like its coming out of all the vents. If you have any type of sensitivity to smell or allergies you should stay far away. The “double beds” are just two twin beds put together with the awkward gap in the middle making it less than comfortable. Pillows may as well not be there - completely flat and uncomfortable. Expect to wake up with a stiff neck and shoulders. There was no window in the room which is not explicitly pointed out (it is in most other hotel room listings) - most misleading is one of the room features being “blackout curtains / blinds” which implies there is a window (I suppose a brick wall could be defined as “blackout” but that’s a stretch at best). The doors are not soundproof whatsoever - you can hear everything guest walking by and hear conversations from down the hall. So cross your fingers and hope you have conscientious neighbours!

Next to Tran & metro station, it’s very convenient. Room is clean, bed is comfortable. The only reminder is don’t throw peppers in the toilet, that could cause a disaster. LOL

Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast buffet looks delicious. Hotel laundry machine apparently broke down from overuse, but there are a few coin-operated laundromats nearby. Construction at the Kaohsiung rear station makes the hotel a little inaccessible. Things will be amazing when the project is done.

Nice, clean hotel
Very clean, nice and modern hotel. Close to kaoshiung mrt which is a few stops from zhuoying HSR station. However, there is construction for expansion of kaoshiung mrt. Hence need to circle around construction area to hotel. Includes very filling breakfast.

Very friendly staff Got a free drink when check into the hotel They exen let me stay a little bit longer to finish the NBA grand final game 6 Due to the current construction of the train station, you need to take a longer walk to the hotel. But overall it isn't that bad

Great hotel, friendly service and good value for $
Most enjoyable stay. The staff were very responsive before and after our stay. We highly recommend the Deluxe Double room, very spacious and comfortable. The only downside is the current reconstruction of the Kaohsiung Main Train Station, which means you have to make a big detour around the station to reach the hotel, about 10mins walk. Nearby the hotel, there are many wholesalers shops but not too many nice eateries.

overall clean property. I like the cement floors, makes it feel cleaner. rooms can be a bit small, but doable. free use of laundry facilities in basement, but it can get crowded.

高雄車站旁特色酒店
酒店位於高雄車站旁，坐捷運或台鐵都很方便；坐落於大街旁的小巷子，即使夜歸也不用擔心太靜；附近有「高雄五分埔」之稱的後站商圈，只要肯細心尋找，可以批發價錢買到美美的衣服。 酒店走工業風的設計路線，從大堂擺設、升降機及房間設計到用具擺設都別具心思，為入住體驗增加一份特色。這次入住的房間，馬桶和淋浴間是分開的，而淋浴間並無特定位置放置衣物，有一點不方便。洗手盆在床頭的位置，對於二人入住或會有點影響，但對獨遊的我卻多了一份方便－－我可以看著電視刷牙呢！酒店還擔心客人會避噪音騷擾，貼心地預備了耳塞，但這次我並未有要用到，因為入住的兩晚都很寧靜呢。 這次住宿體驗一流，如再來高雄也會考慮再次入住

Nicely furnished and located hotel
Nice furnishing and decoration in the hotel. Breakfast was not too good though. I don’t get to choose and it is not so suitable. Location is near Kaohsiung Train Station and hotel is actually located within the Kaohsiung’s version of 五分埔. They’re quite strict on the check-in time so early arrivers have to find something to do first. Overall a pleasant stay.
