"バイクでの旅で利用させて頂きました。到着するなり案内係の方が親切に丁寧な対応をしていただけました。特にバイクだったので屋根付きの駐車場への案内は感動しました。(場所まで誘導していただきありがとうございました。) お部屋は壁が薄いのか隣のお部屋の声かテレビの音声が若干聞こえますが気にならない程度。窓からの景色は特に絶景というものはないがそれには理由がありました。(館内の温泉に入ればわかります。) 温泉は今まで数多くの温泉に入ってきましたがこちらは記憶に残るいい温泉でした。周辺は旅館やお土産店などが数軒の小さな温泉郷ですが食事前にちょっと散歩するぐらいでいい感じでした。仏足岩、湯の神様の神社、共同温泉、足湯、ホタルの里なる小川などがあります。食事がなんとも美味しく、夕食、朝食とも地の物や温泉しゃぶしゃぶなど心を揺さぶられる楽しい食事でした。また接客もお客様を大切にするホスピタリティが溢れる気持ちのいい距離感のサービスでした。米沢の広大な田圃道を走りたくなったらまた立ち寄ります。"

"My daughter and I have stayed at this hotel every summer 5 to 7 days past 12 years. We've stayed at corner queen and two double beds rooms. The rooms are not large, but modern, clean, and functional. The staff are good and helpful. The breakfast buffet features local dishes. It's excellent. The kitchen staff are good. The dining room is opened for free drinks, ice cream, and this year, for night time soba. There are larger rooms, which are great for families. There are always many people on their business trips. Minutes by walk to a large supermarket, seven eleven, Yamagata train station, and other places. It's more expensive than other hotels around the area."

"Overall pretty good resort that is unfortunately showing its age. Our room was rather small for a family style room (comparatively to other ryokans we stayed at for a similar price point) but very clean. Beautiful location but very remote if you don’t have a car. Shuttles to and from Inawashiro station made it easy to take day trips to other areas. Most of the resort’s amenities were also not open during our stay too. The resort supposedly has multiple restaurants but only two were open while we were there. The outdoor onsen is quite nice as well."

Our other favorite part was the dinner - our server was so amazing with us and compliments to the chef for preparing the delicious food. "Clean room, amenities, massage chair, suite-like room, futuristic Toyo toilet, TV in each room, two beds, spacious bathroom, the whole package. I stayed for three nights in the Luxury suite. It was worth it. They have three restaurants in the hotel. The Zao Ropeway is 5 to 10 minutes away. You can by your gondola tickets at the front desk at a discounted price. Location wise, you are literally near the slopes. The bus terminal is a 7 to 10 minute walk."
