Candeo Hotels Osaka The Tower
8/10 Good
"The rooms are a decent size and great layout with lovely bathroom. All nice and modern with amazing views! The hotel baths are wonderful too but can get busy. Location is convenient to most areas but is more in the finance district and out of the chaos so you still have to train or taxi. The downside to the hotel is there is always queues for the lift in the morning and chaotic check-in desk area as so cramped. It feels stressful walking through every time. Not what you expect at a luxury hotel. The laundry facilities were terrible so would not recommend that as you pay a lot and wait around for 2 hours for wash and dry but does not dry your clothes so have to keep topping it up with money and wait around longer. We had to wait for machines too as guests didn’t empty them for a few hours - I would either use a dry cleaner or wait for somewhere else to do your laundry. If you are deciding on booking a place with a gym - The gym is also tiny with low weights, just good for a quick cardio session really as it was so busy and little space with few weights. We did experience this place at the weekend so probably worse than in the week!"

"Our family really enjoyed the amenities at this hotel and the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean but appears somewhat outdated. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend."

"Great location."

The Royal Park Canvas - Osaka Kitahama
10/10 Excellent
"Had a great stay! I would recommend to anyone staying in Osaka. Loved the convenience of the metro station being right outside the hotel door and a decent commute to all the notable locations like Dotombori or even USJ. Traveling to Kyoto wasn’t bad either. 45-55mins on the metro. Staff came in and cleaned everyday which I thought it as every 3 days but it helped the room stay in order while we were out on tours."

"Great stay"

Hotel Forza Osaka Namba Dotonbori
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel Forza is right in the middle of the action in Dotombori. Even though it’s in a busy area, the rooms are well insulated so that you are not able to hear the outside noise."

Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA
6/10 Okay
"Pros: Good central location, loved the room. Cons: laundry ruined our stay. There are 8 machines but a very large number of guests wishing to use the machines. Queued for 40 minutes to get to a machine. Machines badly maintained so what would have taken 2 hour wash and dry took 5 - the reason for the massive queues. Nowhere else we stayed in Japan was like this. Don’t stay here if you’re planning a laundry stop. Room cleaning wasn’t up to scratch with basic items like cups not replaced. Coffee was clearly pre brewed and not barista style with a Nespresso machine like other (cheaper) hotels we have stayed in here. Super easy to get lost and spent the first hour of our staying running around in Yobodashi Camera. This is partially our fault but don’t use google maps to try and find the hotel. Instead; follow the signs around the shopping complex. Overall it didn’t feel like good value for money, compared to far cheaper hotels I’ve stayed in around the world. It takes 10 minutes to get out of the complex to find basics like food, coffee etc."

Odysis Suites Osaka Airport Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Room is quite spacious for what it is but don’t expect anything fancy. This is a convenient place for layover, that’s it. No extra. It is a station away from the airport. That’s the main selling point. Actually, it’s the only selling point."
