I like how it’s so close to the train station. The noise was not as loud as I thought see how the station was next door so that was pleasant. The room was spacious and the restroom were tall friendly.

I booked a smoking room and I got a smoking room. The air cleaner in the room works great and the room is bigger than normal JR hotels. Everything is nice about the hotel. I have been staying in JR East hotel Mets for sometime now and I am beginning to get hooked to it. If I were to nitpick, I do need to carry my luggage up a few steps twice to get to the lobby of the hotel. Not a deal breaker but for smaller ladies who are not so strong, do take note.

Right next to the Kokubunji train station, very convenient. Bus line also out in front. Room was spacious. 900 Yen breakfast coupon was used in the mall next door but the food was good. Front desk was very helpful when we wanted to transport our luggage to Haneda two days before our flight. The price was reasonable, too, about 2500 Yen/piece.

The room itself was very quiet dispite being very close to the railroad. However, I think for what you get, the price is a bit unreasonable. I have stayed at other hotels near stations and they charge less than the Mets. I will likely not stay at this property again.

Access from the street to the lobby is very inconvenient -- I had to carry my heavy suitcase two flights of stairs from the street level to the lobby. There appears to be a freight lift, but the instructions were only in Japanese, which is not helpful for foreign travelers. If you cannot provide help with luggage from the street, at least provide instructions in English for using the freight lift. I will not stay in this hotel in future.
