The hype is true: the suites are amazing. Things went perfect from pick up at arrival, bringing us to a luxury private transport that whisked us to the resort with water and cookies ready in the car. The Westin is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are modern,clean and comfortable. We loved the bed and slept very well. The food is excellent. We really enjoyed the seafood and the breakfast buffet especially. The staff can't do enough for you and are very approachable. There are a few pools, a lovely pool bar and enough loungers around the place. There was so much to do in Langkawi, we wished we could have stayed longer. We did jet ski, parasail, mangrove tour and cable car.

Greeted by staff every morning without fail. Breakfast is good. Only egg section have to wait very Long.

Great location. Near Kuah ferry point. Good for those headed to Satun Thailand or Koh Lipe

Friendly front desk.On the day check in,hotel provide some light refreshment. Upon check in to the room,feels like own home.The hotel vicinity have a food court.Various local delight available.There also a mini shopping centre attschh to the hotel.Going about places are also convenience.

While our time here was short, we found little to complain about during our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming at all times, with the owner/manager constantly on hand to strike up conversation or help you out. The bed was quite comfortable in our room, and while the bathroom could do with some upgrades, it was on par with or better than many other accommodations you'll find in SE Asia. No frills hotel with basic cleanInes and decent breakfast provided. Location is quiet and is about 10 min walk to the nearest convenience store and some eatery. Overall value for money.

Great for the night walk at the forest!

If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. Ong's homestay has many rooms and there is a front porch for parking. This place is not ideal if you have no car to travel around the area. Mr Ong is very friendly and it is still a good place to stay if you wish to be centrally located near Kuah Town.

We booked 2 Longhouse rooms which were next to each other. Great if they have interconnecting rooms. We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at the clean and wonderful hotel. My whole family enjoyed the breakfast at the beautiful restaurant.The ambience is just so relaxing. Will definitely book this hotel again if we visit Langkawi.
