"What a beautiful little boutique hotel. The staff was unbelievably accommodating and friendly, even though they didn’t know very much English, we were able to communicate quite well. My only issue was there was a smell coming out of drain in the shower. But I don’t think that had anything to do with the hotels cleanliness just the sewer system in the area. "My boyfriend and I just got back and we’re already counting down until we can return. From check-in, the staff went above and beyond — everyone was so sweet, and it felt like 5-star Michelin treatment the whole stay. Our room was cleaned twice a day with a lovely turndown service — cute notes and sweets left on the bed every night. The room had a beautiful outdoor shower and bathtub, perfect for a romantic touch. When our TV had an issue, staff replaced it immediately. Free water was restocked daily. Breakfast was incredible — so many options, but we couldn’t get enough of the fried rice and bihun goreng plus made-to-order coffee included free. It kept us full until dinner! Room service was also quick and delicious. Can’t recommend Kamandalu enough. We’ll be back!"

The resort is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind after exploring Ubud. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel valued. The service was consistently outstanding and really made the trip feel special. The food was delicious with a great variety of options, and enjoying meals while overlooking the stunning scenery was a highlight each day. The entire property is well maintained and offers a perfect balance of luxury, tranquility, and authentic Balinese charm. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Ayung Resort Ubud to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Bali."

"Staff was very helpful and everyone from cleaning to pool were very nice. The pools were amazing, especially the adult only one. We tried a few experiences: Teppayanki: great taste and friendly chef, was a lot of fun. Only negative is the sauce maybe been a bit too buttery In villa dining: the staff set up a nice table and BBQ in our villa. The food was fresh off the grill and delicious with very generous portions."

"You guys this place is a must the amount of details that they go through and the staff and how polite they are is beyond. It's really what made my stay so special here I checked in for a solo trip and when I arrive late that night, they had set up a happy birthday sign on the bed that made me feel so special and they also put flowers in my outdoor bathtub I mean the details of this was just too much to not love"

"Not a big of a deal but water leaked from the shower room into the toilet area. It would be helpful if there are more towels placed in the room. I requested to leave extra towels in the room for the second night, but they didn't. It worked out ok. All the hotel staffs are nice and friendly. They are very helpful. The hotel gave us such a warm hospitality. I would stay there again."

"We got the room with pool. It was bigger than expected which was a pleasant surprise, and the room itself was spacious. The buffet breakfast was great quality with a variety of options. The highlight was the service provided by staff; everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very sad to leave this resort."
