Just what I needed.
Quiet, clean, great value! A porter carried my bag to my room and he was a charm. Very clean room with nice private balcony.

First of all, it only cost $45 a night including breakfast in a room with a 40cm tv and air con. You get two dispensers in the shower for shampoo and body wash (I think it was body wash, it didn't have a label). Breakfast was sufficient but not what you'd get at $150 a night resort. There was a choice of egg dishes, 4 hot local dishes, toast and a tray of pastries, salads and one sort of fruit. You get two complimentary bottles of water each day as a bonus. I think this place would have been one of the original hotels and it's looking a bit aged, but then again you're paying less than $A50 a night. It's at a fantastic spot at Pantai Jerman and it's very quiet compared to the craziness of Kuta which is just down the beach a little. If you're into surfing, the boat to Airport Lefts. Middles and Kuta Reef cost $7 return and leaves from across the road to the hotel and there's some awesome warungs on the beach where you can get a meal and a drink for about $8. The staff are lovely. The pool was a treat. I was placed on the second floor, which I would call the third floor. There's no elevator so lugging all my boards up the stairs was a struggle. Would a 62 year old surfer like me stay there again? Most certainly! If I was looking for pure luxury, I'd look elsewhere but you can beat the value, quietness and location of this hotel

We have stayed here previously love location as we enjoy walking. Only issue is the security light outside rm 702 stays on all night until 6.20am. A suggestion would be to put a box pelmet along the curtains. Excellent food lovely pool area. Staff very friendly and helpful

Convenient location near the airport. Nice pool. Rooms a bit like run down. Bathroom toilet not very clean. Drainpipes on the floor not covered, filthy looking. requested to cover but it was not done.

The staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. The gardens and pool are beautiful! You can have a massage on site, cleanliness of the room was of a high standard and the breakfast is very satisfying

HORRIBLE...worse than a truck stop!
From the pictures, I thought this would be an ok hotel for 1 night. i was WRONG! The room had a HORRIBLE ODOR, the front desk was rude, the shower was a spicket next to the toilet - no curtain...just a tile room with a toilet and open shower head.....only 1 towel (no hand towel, no soap, nothing) and gave us a hard time when we asked for more.This was a BARE BONES hotel and backed a ghetto alley. The beach across the street was full of trash and had dirty water. I would NEVER stay here....we ended up leaving 5 hours after checking in...it was that bad!

The hotel staff were lovely friendly and helpful the place was beautiful with its Balinese atmosphere and rooms and surroundings but rooms were old had no hand soap tissues or safe in your room to place your valuables although they had in reception a locker but that wasn’t practical if you wanted to get something you had to go to reception every time other than that I enjoyed my stay there .

Did not actually stay, got there booked in was supposed to be a double room with 3 single beds. Up 2 flights of stairs (thats ok) was then gob smacked 3 beds squeezed into a room no bigger than mine at home a few ants on the small suitcase stand, beds made dormitry style/no stlying, had to push door onto balcony that hard to open tnought was going to break dont get me started on the bathroom. Needless to say us 3 older 50's & 60yr olds didn't stay we booked straight out an went to the Bounty (who actually had a room thst sleeps 3 called triple. No comparison

For the money this hotel was pretty good and a lot better than I expected. Friendly staff, good breakfast and lovely clean swimming pool. Unfortunately there is no sound proofing between floors so I suggest ask for a top floor room. But, please Palm Beach upgrade your sheets and towels as they are past their use by date!!!!

Good value
We only stayed for one night here because we had an early flight out and it’s very close to the airport. The pool area in this hotel was spacious and well maintained but the rooms were sorely in need up upgrades. That said, for the price, the Palm Beach is excellent value for your money.

Fun in the Sun
My favorite place to stay, 3rd trip so far. Nice staff and I enjoy the meals. Very quite and close to the beach for early morning walks and afternoon bike rides.

The staff here were really friendly and happy to help. After some difficulties connecting the WiFi was actually quite decent. However, the room was very very tired with things broken like the lock on the bathroom door. The doors didn’t feel safe at all, they felt as though someone could open them with a sharp push which was unnerving. The sheets were very stained which wasn’t nice and the bathroom had a sewage smell. The shower although quite powerful was cold and didn’t warmup. Although breakfast was included we didn’t eat it so I can’t comment and we also didn’t go to the pool. We used this hotel simply as somewhere to stay close to the airport so weren’t looking for great amenities but we just wanted somewhere clean and safe to stay for the night and this wasn’t what we experienced. It was very cheap which explains a lot but should have been cheaper for what was experienced.

If you want a place with a good ratio qlty price
The room we had was not well ventilated and smelled like humidity Staff is very nice, breakfast buffet is ok If you just want a place to stay near the beach I think it's a very interesting hotel.

Amazing property with even better staff! The food was amazing & so was the pool! The area wasn’t too bad but was far from actual Kuta beach. Wasn’t fair to claim this area Kuta beach. It was an hour drive. Very close to the airport with cheap transport which was helpful. Had one issue: when we booked a tour to Nusa Penida they did not inform us that we wouldn’t have enough time to see anything. We ended up getting picked up - laughed at because of the time frame - and I told the driver to take us back. It ruined our day sadly. The beds also were a bit uncomfortable. By a bit I mean a lot. But I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone

Pool was awesome but not enough shade for lounges towels very small not much bigger than hand towels, there were not floor mats or hand towels in bathroom. Restaurant was nicely placed over looking the pool and the garden.

We are welcome for every guest who visit Palm Beach Hotel. For guest security we are not allowed the visitor enter guest room. We have public are like lobby and restaurant where the visitor can meet our guest.

Wifi disappointing but overall good stay so far!
Wifi is very unreliable here. Needs major improvement. I spent $30 on data which I shouldn't need to do. Second room was quiet (moved from noisy East European neighbours). Some rooms are not very sound proof. Hotel is dated and quite comfortable. Don't expect a lot for $29 AUD. Pool needs a good clean and my room phone didn't work. TV good. Bed comfy. Walk to airport 20 minutes. Overall a good 7 day stay so far. Staff very helpful.

Disappointing
Quite disappointing. Pool area very run down with broken and missing tiles. Not child friendly as a lot of care needed not to hurt yourself. Pool furniture barely useable. Pool towels hard to source. We waited half an hour for ours. The grounds poorly tended. A general feeling that the hotel is being run down and trying to save money where ever possible. Lucky we only booked one week out of our two week stay, so we booked second week elsewhere. Internet very slow so unable to post pictures to back up my review
