"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "

"There were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. "The staff was helpful during our stay. We did luggage transfer from Kyoto to Tokyo and the staff helped us with the process. The room was very clean, water pressure in the shower was amazing. We loved the hotel concept of fawn. There are beautiful plants and beautiful atmosphere in the lobby and guest lounge, featuring herb water with ice for the guests. The room was nice but not too spacious for a larger family. It was equipped with a mini fridge and kettle. Windows brought light to the room but no views, so it felt somewhat enclosed. The bathroom was very spacious and nice, with a separate toilet stall. The toilet/bathing spaces are separate from the room itself but still private within an overall enclosure. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, eateries and convenience stores and the staff is very helpful and friendly."
