The Glendale Hotel is one of those older, well-established two-story properties that's really more of a motel than hotel. It worked perfectly well for me as a solo business traveler, but it was standard fare — nothing particularly unique. Although I didn't require or request it, they put me in a fairly large, plain-jane room with handicap access. Little to no art adorning the walls. Good features for business use. A dining table, a desk and plenty of outlets for electronics. Staff was very friendly. $15 charge for overnight parking.

We enjoyed talking to the staff, very friendly. Very clean rooms, gym could use a little wiping down on machine handles a little sticky. Loved the stay, one comment would be nice to have had blackout shades because the lights outside the room were coming in from the garden area and prefer darker sleeping conditions. I do recommend staying here though.

No parking was available, and we had to park several blocks down because there was no street parking by hotel since it is in a residential area. The breakfast was awful and the room was very old and outdated. Pre- packaged brownies, muffins, and oatmeal was what they had for breakfast. The customer service/interaction with hotel staff was scarce and minimal and they didn’t seem to care either way that they had guests. We also had to ask someone to come fix our tv because it wasn’t working. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I find the signature rooms much superior to the annex rooms that open to the parking lot.
