"Our stay was great! The location is wonderful and it is a very charming property. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was very good. Only downside was that there was no onsite parking. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay again."

"Beautiful location. Food was very good. Room was clean if a little tired. I leave the new owners have addedly had the hotel for four months and imagine they will be working their way through upgrading. I wish them lots of luck it's a great hotel in a great location."

"Really lovely stay. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well kept, with a modern bathroom. The spa was excellent, and it was especially nice to relax in the hot tub overlooking the mountains. Breakfast had a great range of options, including a hot breakfast and continental selection, and the food was excellent. Would definitely stay again. The only slight downside was the ยฃ10 parking charge, although I appreciate parking in the area is limited."

"Great place to stay for Ambleside and the Lakes. Just five minute walk into town. Small room but you expect that in the Lakes. There is parking (it is very tight!). We didnโt see any staff but they sent us comprehensive self check in info. Everything you need for a couple of nights in Ambleside. Would definitely stay here again."
