"Take the problems that the Cartoon Network had and slap a fresh coat of paint on it. That’s exactly what DW did with the motel. We stayed for three days over the Easter weekend. Writing this on our last night here. The rooms were renovated with new flooring, wallpaper and paint. What remained was the same problems with the plumbing and other problems. When we entered the room the tub drained so slow you where you’re standing in water as you showered. The pull for the “new” shower divert did not work properly. The stopper for the sink was stuck on the closed position. The refrigerator barely kept anything cold. Personally I don’t think it was even on. Extreme lack of drawers or place to hang clothes.
We addressed the plumbing problems twice and nothing was done. All the staff was super friendly though. During the three days or room was not turned over. No towels were offered and our trash remained piled up.
Be wary, since it is a motel, it’s exposed to the outside so every morning our tub was full of nats and flys. Which of course could not drain. I blame the amount we had on the huge opening under the front door which allows outside air to come in.
The staff was super friendly but the 30 min early entry perk was not worth staying on property. With all the better lodging nearby, we will not be staying here again.
