The Indy has done a good job of providing modern accommodations while keeping the old-world charm of the original building. The location is close to the Intendente station and there are a number of really good cafe's and restaurants in the area

It was a clean, quiet and cozy room we stayed in for 6 nights. It was a walking distance to metro, supermarket and restaurants. However, it would be great if we could have a basic appliance such as an electric kettle for tea/ coffee, so we could start the day and end our evening more pleasantly without being have to go shopping for it every single time we needed one.

So wonderful!

Very nice appartment with everything in it. Two fridges and two toilets/showers! The garden was nice and it was calm. Very close to Lidl, where we bought our breakfast and sometimes dinner. Close to the Metro and restaurants. It was easy to get in contact with the hotel when we had questions, they replied very quickly. We had a really Lovely Stay! 💕

We had a wonderful stay with our 9 month old baby and six year old. Our apartment was spacious and clean, the views were wonderful and the neighbourhood was fun to walk and explore even with a stroller. Communication was great, they were helpful and kind. When people are in the stairway noise really carries but it wasn’t a problem as everyone was respectful. Thanks for a wonderful time, we wish we were there longer!

The property was fine itself and comfortable location to public transportation. The shower had hot water and nice shower head. My 2 concerns was that the I chose a non-smoking room and the room still had a faint smell of smoke (but that’s Europe and I am VERY sensitive) and the walls are so thin I could hear people talking in the room above me in the middle of the night.

Great stay for a few days

Funky vintage building with a lift. Location good, but if you have a rental car, parking is practically impossible in the area. Coin metered during day, resident only parking at night. Walk to city ok during the day, but we felt safer taking Uber’s back to the apartment at night. Earplugs are provide and are necessary. Lots of creeping floors as per other comments, and loud plumbing monster noises at times. Basic kitchen, but functional. Warm water, but no real hot water for a comfortable shower. We enquired about this, but doesn’t seem to be fixable. Apartment door (105) has 1/2 inch gap on side. Can see into the apt. Couch wouldn’t be very comfortable for a long stay. Heating work really well.

Room was clean and heat/AC works. Lots of character in the room love the extra touches that they provided, little chocolate water and local cookies. The room was cozy and I was happy to keep the window open to get fresh air , the bathroom spacious but the sink was so tiny. The shower had no issues with hot water, a bit of mildew on the grout but either than that it was clean. There is a grocery store 2 minute walk which is wonderful was able to get some snacks and food. The shared kitchen is on the 4th floor on the right, nice and clean as well. There are two fridges so you are able to keep your food fresh. The location of the place is very central, close to restaurants and the train station. There was an issue with the main entrance door, host was quick to respond. I would stay here again.

Our stay at the Indy House LovelyStay hotel was extremely frustrating and disappointing from the moment we arrived. We were aware of the absence of front desk staff, but we were given no clear instructions on how to access the key box to retrieve our room key. After a long 20-hour journey, arriving late after midnight, the last thing we expected was to struggle just to get into our room. We spent over an hour trying to figure out how to open the keypad/lock box, with no guidance provide, not even a simple video or screenshots that could have easily been shared after online check-in. In the end, we had to resort to using a metal spoon from the kitchen to force the key box open, which was both stressful and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the online staff was unreachable for about 30 minutes. We had to rely on Expedia’s support team (a lot of thanks to Expedia staff) to finally get in touch with someone who could assist us online. This lack of responsiveness and support added significantly to our frustration. While the room itself was clean, the bathroom was extremely small and uncomfortable, which only added to the overall negative experience. The concept of automated check-in is fine, but only if proper and clear instructions are provided. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. We will not be staying here again and would not recommend this hotel to others.
