Excellent location and the building itself is very historic as it’s the former Brazilian Consulate in Lisbon. The size of the room was huge for being in the middle of the European city. The breakfast is excellent and well worth it. The staff is also very accommodating and friendly. Only issue was we could not get the wi-fi to work at all during our 2 night stay. But lucky enough we both had good data plans on our phones. There was an also a very mild sewage smell coming from the sink, but nothing too bad or noticeable outside of a few week from the sink. Overall a great place to stay in Lisbon.

The location of Let Consulat was excellent. With a Team stop right at the steps of the hotel and loads of eateries. Everything is a short walk away including a laundromat. The actual inside of the hotel was beautiful, the decor and space was excelelnt. Our only issues was with the bathroom, there is no ventilation so the floors are full of mould. From the time we stepped foot into the room there was an overwhelming smell of sewerage. We had to close and fill the bath and sink with water and close the bathroom door, even then the smell was so so strong and made us quite nauseous. Pedro, the night staff who welcomed us was excellent. The gentleman that checked us out didn't help at all. We had our hands full with luggage and he was just chatting on his mobile with his friend. He didn't have the courtesy to open the heavy door for us. Just yelled "bye" as the door was closing behind us. Shame that the horrid smell and the last point of contact that we have with the hotel was this person.

I was very happy to stay at Le Consulat. It's the best location in Chaido. The square just outside is always full of life and, at night, musical performers. There is even a cafe kiosk and chairs. The metro is just on the other side of the square, and Bertrand bookstore a few paces beyond that. You're a short walk from Rossio, Praca do Comercio, and so much more.The hotel room was clean and spacious, with an excellent bed, a roomy bathroom, and big windows overlooking the street below where the famous tram 28 passes. The staff was courteous, cheerful, and attentive. I look forward to staying at Le Consulat again when I return to Lisbon.

Nice hotel in a great location
Le Consulat is a very nice hotel in a great location. I was able to walk to most destinations and there were plenty of food options nearby. It was clean and all of the staff members were very friendly. The hotel is next to a neighborhood square and I could hear the people and cars late into the night. Also, the elevator broke halfway through my stay, but the staff said they were replacing it completely with a new elevator, so it shouldn't be a problem for too much longer. I wish there was a desk or small table in the room to work on a laptop. The reception staff was able to arrange for a very early (3am) ride to the airport (surcharge), which helped ensure I got there on-time. They used WhatsApp for easy communication about the details of the property. I felt safe walking around this hotel at night. Overall, I was happy with my stay and would stay there again.

Room was incredibly large in a city known to have mostly tiny spaces, plus nicely decorated and furnished. Well located such that we were within walking distance of most anything we wanted to visit. The custom breakfast was an interesting touch after massive buffets everywhere else we stayed. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Le Consulat is a beautiful historic former Brazilian consulate. Such history. We stayed in the corner suite and it was absolutely gorgeous. Loved looking out over the plaza and all the activity. The staff is just so welcoming and full of local knowledge. We would definitely recommend le condulat to anyone coming to Lisbon. Centrally located too! Often times it is the staff that makes a stay over and above. And they succeeded!

Great location. Lots of fun places to visit within 20 - 30 minutes of walking. (Be prepared for lots of steep cobbled strreets). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good (Continental style). Rooms were very clean and large. Shower/washroom was spotless. Bed was firm (my preference) and pillows were supportive (not soft). I would not recommend a car in inner Lisbon - parking is not very easy. The steep, cobbled, narrow streets can be very busy and if you're not used to driving in European cities, you will find this challenging!!!

The entrance to the hotel is small and funky the room itself was large. As far as amenities there is no alcohol service. The area around the hotel is very loud, smoky and crowded at night however if you walk up the hill there are several nice restaurants and bars. There is an excellent seafood restaurant a block away. Patinas Tania’s jazz club is exceptional with great staff drinks and music. Tapas bar 52 at the top of the hill is very good with great staff. There is an amazing speak easy fairly close that is behind a red door, just google speakeasy’s and you should find it

The hotel’s location is great and the staff was very attentive. The hotel 🏨 s a historical building but the bathrooms are nicely updated. The only complaint was that the bed was a bit hard for my liking but that was it.

Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment we had, very clean, location awesome, wish we had stayed longer. The only recommendation is to refurbish the reception area. It’s very old and small and not welcoming. But the desk crew were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Fab location overlooking a square. Tram 28 just outside the hotel . Lots of bars and shops nearby. Metro line is walking distance. Street entertainers perform nearby - adds to the atmosphere

Our stay at Le Consulat was better than we could’ve even imagined. We were given early check-in, a beautiful room equipped with full amenities and perfectly temperature controlled. The location was so convenient to all the restaurants and sites we wanted to visit. The staff was so accommodating and our room was perfectly clean. Would absolutely recommend staying here for anyone that wants a 10/10 experience visiting Lisbon.

The staff was very quick to respond to any needs or questions. The room was very clean and surprisingly big. The only complaint is the shower drain wasn't fast enough to accommodate the water so the towel at the entrance was always very wet. We managed though LOL.

The unique style of this hotel makes it a stand out, the rooms were very spacious , clean, comfortable and well serviced. Th location was perfect, in the heart of everything. The staff were fabulous , courteous and friendly. The property is well run with an extremely accommodating manager who went out of his way to arrange tours for us. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to Lisbon.

Clean, spacious rooms in the perfect location. Close to many shops and restaurants, extremely walkable. Hallways could be a bit loud but given location not much time was spent in rooms. Complimentary mini bar, small terrace, lounge and friendly staff completed our stay.

Amazing room and view
Very comfortable stay. The room was perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing, although if you like to go to bed earlier than 11-11:30 it will be tough because of its location there is usually a guitar player and singer right outside. It is a very touristy area.

The hotel's location was fabulous, in close proximity to all Lisbon's main attractions, shopping district and restaurants. The rooms are clean, updated, well serviced by housekeeping and the daily breakfast and waitstaff were both fantastic. Pedro and the front desk team were extremely attentive and went out of their way to ensure that the whole stay was a pleasure. Thank you!
