This Hotel is a great value option in the City Center of Lisbon. The Rooftop bar is a great place to enjoy a drink at night and enjoy the view of the City. We truly enjoyed our stay and the size of the rooms are generous, when compared to other Boutique Hotels.

Great hotel, perfect location

Luxury hotel between the old and new parts of Lisbon, near Metro and many restaurants and sights. Lovely hotel, breakfast and staff. Great way to start our trip to Portugal.

The Hotel staff were completely and utterly amazing during our time there. They honored our early check in which was amazing as we had just arrived on the red-eye from New York. The Hotel itself was clean and trendy with a beautiful bar in the lobby and had a gorgeous scent throughout the place. Our room was beautiful and we had a lovely view.

This is the second time I have stayed at this NH in Lisbon. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The location is great because you are close to the city center but still removed from all the crowds. The rooftop at this hotel has an amazing view!! Everything is top tier at the NH Liberdade!!

Despite staff making up for an average stay with free breakfast and cocktails , it’s important to note the building and ammenities were dated , the plumbing in our bathroom and air conditioning didn’t work … Conveniently located and kind staff with the exception of the bar tenders on the rooftop . I wish I had more positive things to say .

A wonderful short break. The hotel staff went above and beyond expectations. At breakfast manager Rui even insisted on getting a carton of the brand of oat milk that l drink as it wasn’t in the selection there and sure enough he had it all ready and waiting for me the next morning! Also a very nice touch in our room on my husband’s birthday- a delicious cake and a bottle of bubbly with a handwritten card - all without a mention from us about his birthday. The hotel staff literally couldn’t do enough for us. The location of the hotel is excellent- great shopping, fantastic restaurants and transportation very close by. The rooftop bar and swimming pool are an added bonus too - with great views of the city.

Stay away from room 506

The hotel is located within shopping center. While i appreciated that we were allowed early check in at 12:30 pm due to cancelled flight and our previuos hotel being sold out, i would never agreed to stay in the room (506) that we received, especially for the price of $350/night. The room Was small (did not feel like 300 sq. Feet), dark, with small window overlooking tiny courtyard with escape staircase - depressing. It served the purpose of getting some sleep after 3.5 hrs of sleep, dragging suitcases to the airport only to find out tnat flight cancelled with zero communication from United Airlines via text, email or phone call...the small rooftop area with pool and tables looked descent enough...

Very nice place

Stayed for 7 nights in july 2024. Loved the location, which is close to the metro for easy acces to the airport (around 30 minutes, and very easy to figure out), and also central enough to walk around town to everything you need to see. A bit uphill from Baixa, Alfama and Bairro, but nothing really worth mentioning in this town. A good selection of restaurants nearby, and lots of expensive shopping if that is your vibe. Some cosy kiosks as well, where you'll find both turists and locals enjoying a snack and a cold drink. Rooftop is perfect for a swim, a drink or just enjoying the sun. We used the pool some mornings and some afternoons, and never found it crowded even though the temperatures were above 30 degrees C. Staff is friendly, accommodating and helpfull. Nothing bad to say. They have this nice feature where you "earn" two drinks (sodas and beer) in the bar, if you skip cleaning of your room. Very clever. Some reviews mentions that the hotel is a bit dated. We found some very minor dings, but really nothing to worry about. Overall we loved our stay at Lisboa Liberdade, and will be back.
