Rooms were clean and location was excellent BUT the washroom was very small and the doors were glass. This meant very little sound/odor isolation for people using it and those outside. I would avoid if you are overweight or obese.

The employees make this hotel, very kind and quick to help make your stay wonderful. The morning breakfast was great and on our last day they had 'breakfast to go' ready for us. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel and staff were great. The room was small but we got use to it. Breakfast included was also very good. Only thing that wasnt great was when we had dinner in the Lis restaurant we felt invisable, the food was great but it took forever to get menus, drinks, food or bill. The best waiter was the male bartender.....he should get a raise. We had to waive for any attention. Great location. Thank you. T&M Victoria, BC Canada

First time in Lisbon

The hotel is centrally located making walking through out the Rossio Square area easy. Shopping and dining options are plentiful. Some of our best meals were at Taberna do Lis, the hotel restaurant. Hotel staff were professional, friendly and had a great sense of humor.

Great base in the middle of everything!

OK, so the rooms are small. Really small. You can tell that from the photos. But they are full of character, with French windows onto Juliet balcony, nicely updated, spotless, bed is super comfortable, and everthing works - plumbing, heat, wifi. Staff is super helpful, breakfst is great with lots of variety. Location can't be beat, and if you want to be in a historic building in the middle of everything, small rooms is the price you pay.

A very clean, nice hotel.

It's a nice hotel, but the room is tiny for $200 a night. Also, it was not a king bed as I booked. Definitely a small queen. It had a nice sized bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and all of the employees were outstanding. It's in a great area close to great restaurants and sights.

The staff could not have been any more friendly or helpful. The room was small but functional. It was arranged very well in order to maximize the space. We loved being able to open the balcony door for fresh air and to hear the city sounds but once we closed it there was silence. The location was great and walkable to many shops, restaurants and sights. We contacted the hotel ahead of time to inquire about tours. They arranged two fabulous private tours for the four of us to Sintra/Caiscais and Tomar. Our guides were excellent and the tours were wonderful.

This is a lovely, small hotel right in the Baixa area of Lisbon. Walk 60 seconds and you'll find dining, shopping, coffee, the hop-on, hop-off bus. I didn't get the breakfast option (I'm not a breakfast person) and coffee shops were an easy walk. Highly recommend. I was travelling by myself and felt very safe; front desk is staffed 24/7.

Great place!

We liked this hotel so much, we chose it again for our final night in Lisbon. Friendly, efficient staff. Great location…in the midst of everything and on the flat so at the end of the day, you come DOWN the hill! Walking distance to much and public transport close at hand to get to the other places. Fantastic shower with water pressure and unlimited hot water. Very clean! Of note…you’ll want the windows shut at night…two blocks from the tram line! But windows are insulated and blocked the sound. Room was small by North American standards, but we found we could open our suitcases and slide them under the bed…like drawers! Very comfy beds. Would recommend +++

The front desk staff were so kind and friendly to us! Easy to get along with… also were happy to give suggestions. The breakfast service every morning was basic but we’re happy we got it to fuel our mornings! The room was a little small, it was basically all bed no flex space lol and the bed had two divots (one in each side) so it was uncomfortable on our backs when we would move around while we slept.
