"When I read all the great reviews about this property, I thought if I got half the of great services written, I'll be glad. I wasn't disappointed! I was warmly welcome by the very pleasant and friendly receptionist Maria and Cole. They made all the check in process and my stay very seemless. The room was clean, modern and had the the necessary amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I had issue with my room and this was immediately resolved by the ladies and Christian . All in all my stay was very enjoyable and this will be my go to hotel anytime I'm in Liverpool."

"Massive room, obviously normally used for larger parties than our 3. We moved the beds and there was a good bit of dirt underneath, confetti etc. One window didn’t quite close properly. Didn’t impact us in the summer. I’d say the room is frequented by hen parties given the champagne flutes. Have stayed at the Shankly numerous times. Great central location. Helpful staff. A hen party had dancers in the bar on the Saturday afternoon at around 4. Music blaring and wailing at it. We were only there to pick up bags but it would have been a pain in the face for other guests if you’d wanted a quiet drink"
