The only issue we’ve experienced about our stay was the cleanliness issues. The whole place could do with a deep deep clean and small touch ups. I believe no matter how much money you pay, you should be able to stay in a clean environment. Apart from the cleanliness, our stay was great. The staff was great and helpful. Fridge was a fantastic bonus. We haven’t used other facilities like dining room etc but I know that was available. No safety on the windows, my son is 5 so he knew not to go near the window when it was open. The towels smelt of damp, which was a shame as the bedding was so fresh and clean. Maybe they need replacing. Lots of on street parking ! Hopefully these comments get taken into consideration. We certainly would consider coming back!
Took two calls before check in pass codes were sent. Property is very run down. Broken window and poorly fitted doors and windows in room 10. Room smelled strongly of cannabis. Stained carpets and after booking as a pet friendly hotel we were told no dogs after 1 night. Hotel seems to be run as a kind of emergency accommodation for council services not fit for occupation in my opinion. If it had been advertised as ovo as indeed it is I would never of booked as poor experiences with this company elsewhere would of prevented it.police arresting a drug user outside the front gate upon arrival should of been a red flag.
Unfortunately, I have contracted scabies from my visit there. I have had to have myself amd all my family members treated. I have an awful amping of blisters on my body from my stay. I would advise that they investigate amd treat this condition before any other bookings are made. Images can be provided along with prescribed medication from my GP
