Central location, friendly staff. Did have some difficulty carrying a 23kg bag up 3 flights of stairs with no lift available but otherwise nice accommodation.

Had items stolen from my room. Nothing big so didn’t bother saying anything, but a nice fountain pen which clips to my note book which I’ve had for years was left clipped to my note book in the room. This was suddenly gone with a 4 pack of gum. - Had to catch a train so no point raising, items were not misplaced or forgotten elsewhere.

Good location ,on top of places to eat and drink. Room was nice and clean, downside for me was quite noisy rooms around you doors bang quite loud when people come back at night also the room above had the fan on all night and it just seemed to hum down the wall all night.

Plumbing in shower was clogged-water was spilling out and it became disgusting. Too late for any maintenance to be done. We had to wait until the next day. There was no option given to change to another room. Breakfast was mediocre…a woman was handing out cold toasted bread. Need I say more.

What you see was the curtain in the room. Pretty elegant.

Great area, only 5 minutes to the Paddington train station. But no warm water or any comfort in this hotel. Would only recommend to stay one night.

We are given room outside hotel in a building where there was no service, no phone working, we have to cross the road to go for any problem or help or breakfast, hallway full of smell as well too much smoke of weed and other stuff in the building? People smoking and drunk sitting on stairways no monitoring, feel like haunted place also very warm

The hotel was no frills, a fan was provided in the room which was needed given the warm weather currently. Room was clean and tidy. Self adhesive hook on back of bathroom door kept falling off… those things never stay attached. Didn’t go down for breakfast and there was an aroma of cigarette smoke around the building, not sure if someone has/had been smoking in room previously.

Couldn’t connect to the WiFi, didn’t bother to ask…Bathroom needs a hanger for the towel (room 204). Breakfast staff very efficient.

Fine.

Overall it was fine. I find with London you get what you pay for and I only stayed the night. Sure, the buildings a bit dated and it probably needs a bit of TLC and modernisation but it’s a budget friendly option. For £60 it done the job. My shower was hot, the bed was average, wifi would not connect, the room fan (excellent idea on reflection) worked but was full of dust and I can’t comment on the food as I didn’t bother (personal choice). I’ve stayed in worse for more money.

Nice budget hotel near Paddington

Great hotel near Paddington. Nice and clean room. Was cold night in London but room was very warm. Comfy bed and nice clean ensuite. Wifi was not good, unable to connect in my room. Definitely would stay again.
