The Stay started off Very Badly !!
When we arrived at the Hotel there was a notice saying the Hotel was closed and informed us we were staying at ‘
The Chilworth Hotel in Paddington.
So we got ourselves there - Receptionist at the Hotel was Super & with a brief explanation that I was not aware of the change etc , He dealt with our Booking explaining that we would receive Complimentary Breakfast each day of our stay & had a Room Upgrade .
I can’t fault ‘The Chilworth’ Paddington, everything was Excellent, Particularly the Welcoming Staff who were Charming .
We had a Great 3 Night stay , Breakfast was Super , Location Perfect .
N.B I had received a txt msg late Afternoon from The Royale , unfortunately I had not seen this & was relying on Hotels.Com for any changes to our stay ( which are understandable given the Covid-19 Situation )
Hotels.com did not advise .
