Beautiful old hotel, but does need some updating to the maintenance. Room was large and light, but there was a water leak (not major) and problems with a smoker triggering fire alarms through the night. Breakfast was good and the staff were nice as positives.

Great location. Close to the train station and if interested in a bus tour, there is also a stop for the big bus next to the train station. Room was small but that's every hotel room in downtown London. Nevertheless was clean. The outside of the hotel may need painting. Regardless it was a good experience and would stay here again
