Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. WIFI was hit and miss which was frustrating. No aircon but did have a fan in the room. Had windows open but street traffic was VERY noisy with police sirens happening on a regular basis throughout both nights. Breakfast was mixed - cooked was very good but limited options on cereal, fruit, croisants/bread etc. Lovely garden area. Complimentary mini-bar was a bonus. Would stay again.

Excellent hotel and location! Close to the train station, and a short ride to London downtown. AC during heatwaves would be certainly a plus! Breakfast is very good. A washroom in our room room was on the smaller side. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was exceptional with the pretty gardens in the back too have your traditional English breakfast . The staff were helpful and fun .Late At night there is not much open for for food in black watch but the staff will make you a cold sandwich and that was really nice … I would recommend this hotel

Lovely older hotel with an amazing breakfast. Makes their own sausages.. uses free range eggs.. fantastic. Great location on the heath and about 10 min walk to blackheath station. They have traditional Sunday roast and afternoon high tea. Lovely hotel.

The location was wonderful, in a lovely village with green spaces and a beautiful church. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Train station was 5mins walk away and the buses stop across the road from the hotel. Very clean room, breakfast had everything you would want and lovely gardens out the back. The staff were very friendly and helpful and a late night drink in the bar was perfect before a good slin the comfy bed. Would definitely recommend The Clarendon.

The location is perfect with lovely views of Blackheath Common. It is only a short walk to the train station with frequent trains into the centre of London. All the staff are so friendly, welcoming & helpful, especially the restaurant staff and all the receptionists the day staff & evening staff.
