Perfect for exploring Soho and nearby areas. Leicester Square Tube station only two minutes walk away as well. Room was even smaller than expected, although I wasn’t in it for much of my stay so not a huge issue, but certainly one which would mean I’d never recommend staying here for more than two nights. Staff great and very helpful.

Excellent service from the moment I stepped in, Gary was so lovely and very helpful when checking in. In stayed in queen room and it was nice and quiet the beds were also comfortable.

Amazing central London location for a fair price, and the staff were really helpful. I would've liked a bit more natural light or a bigger window in my room, and the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but honestly for the price and as it was a last-minute booking I can't complain. Would stay there again.

The hotel had a marvellous central location and everywhere was within walking distance. The room itself was very small and the bed too close to the toilet

This was a terrible hotel and not as advertised. Soundproofing was non-existent. The mattress was a hard mat. I had to walk outside to go up a small staircase to my room where I tripped and bruised my knee. If I that been raining it would’ve been a real liability. The staff were friendly tried to help but the property itself was a mess and they know it.

I ordered a room with a window. Only 2 rooms were available. The first room I was given someone was inside sleeping when I went into the room. The second room I was given the AC was broken and there was no window even though I’d ordered a room with a window. A fan simply blew the hot air around the room all night. It was like trying to sleep in a sauna. Terrible experience and will never visit again.

Booked an inside room as only staying for one night. Arrived on the hottest day of the year >33 degrees. On checking in around 17:30 informed that the air conditioning was not working. Offered free breakfast as compensation which was declined due to other fans. A small tower fan was provided but did not improve the heat in the room which was in excess of 38 degrees overnight. It was impossible to sleep. Also the shower cubicle- seal was broken on the bottom of the door causing the water to poor out into the room. Whilst the offer of breakfast was kind, I would have preferred to be informed prior that the air con was not working and possibly offered a room at an alternative z hotel. In any case it would have given chance to find an alternative hotel. I would not have booked the hotel and especially an internal room, without air con being available.

This place was disgusting. The hotel is in a great area, but avoid it at all costs. Biggest issue was that the hotel had no hot water. I was told to let the shower run for 30 minutes, but after over an hour, freezing cold. The mattress is a thin cot or army type mattress on wood. It’s extremely uncomfortable. The floors in the room were filthy. My feet were almost black from walking around. The room smelled very strongly of mold. The staff were not helpful as they could not tell me anything about how to get hot water. The construction outside of the unit was unsafe and unsightly. The pictures on the web site for the hotel are when the hotel looked better I assume. I immediately got a headache and allergies started to flare up when enter the room. Restaurant had terrible food. I hated this place and left about 3 hours after being there. I didn’t care about finances, but I had asked the staff and they said they could not reimburse me. I told them that I need hot water and they once again assured me that I just have to let the water run for 30 minutes. Anyway, terrible place. Please don’t give them any of your business.

Staff welcoming always hospitable, I’ve now stayed at the convent garden , and today soho where Assan was awesome ! Made me an amazing Cappuccino also which is hard to do for me being a kind of passionate love of cappuccinos. Rooms clean and immaculate. Quirky at the soho but I’m told it’s old. Negatives tiny doubles do two people nope get an apartment if you at soho. My room literally like the M25 at late night foot traffic’ above me and mornings at 6.45aam so I guess if you not on the top floor that’s somthing hon may want to note. Overall I would recommend for the solo traveler. For location and convenience can’t get better fro budget stays On the negative

Great hotel, smaller room but had everything I needed for a solo stay. I also knew I was booking and getting a smaller room so I was not at all disappointed. The hotel was clean and close to everything you would need. The staff were great and always welcoming. The only downside is the fire alarm would go off when I used the shower, even with the window open.

I usually don't leave bad reviews, but this hotel deserves a minus 10. It's an expensive hotel, yet the room was extremely small - it felt like a jail cell with no air or oxygen. There was constant noise from the street, and I never received proper cleaning service. One day I came back tired from a meeting and fell asleep, and they knocked on my door around 3 PM asking if I wanted cleaning. In any decent hotel, room cleaning should happen between 9 AM and 11 AM.
