"Restaurants were excellent. Service was excellent. Plenty of sunbeds by pool (but prime location ones get taken very early). Excellent pool. Unfortunately couldn’t swim in sea as very strong currents (this is normal here I believe) but the pools were superb and not overcrowded. Great entertainment. Superb service everywhere including at sunbeds by the pools. Overall extremely satisfied. "

"I recently spent four days at Hyatt Ziva, and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained with lush landscaping, elegant architecture, and breathtaking views. It’s clearly designed with families in mind, offering a wide range of activities to keep kids entertained all day long. What truly stood out was the staff. Every team member we interacted with was extremely kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. No matter how many questions or requests we had, they never seemed tired or irritated. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Special shoutout to Axel and Armando at the coffee house—they were always friendly, engaging in great conversation, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. This resort is not just beautiful, it’s warm and full of heart. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already planning our next visit."

"Loved it. Felt transported. Architecturally stunning. Love the water access next to my ground level room. Massage and spa incredible. Service outstanding. Best guacamole at awacate restaurant. Expensive. Not for children. This property should be listed as adults only. Definitely got looks from the childless adults at the pools. "

"Great resort"

"Love this place!! Five star service (cookies delivered to the room every night at turndown), beautiful views from every room, amazing food, well kept grounds, great location on the marina, gorgeous private beach (to get there you take about a 30 second boat ride across the marina… open 10am to 6pm only- and are met with a bunch of loungers and big bed cabanas, soft sand and calm warm waters-76 degrees in June). We sat out on our patio every morning and looked out over the fishing boats and ocean beyond. The rooftop pool is outstanding (the views!!!), but my favorite was the “quiet pool”- a small more private spot to relax. The food at the hotel is truly terrific but there’s also several local options within a 10 minute walk (very safe!) or a 3 minute bike ride (hotel has bikes for your use). The Drunken Sailor has terrific food and great non alcoholic drink options like hibiscus lemonade, and coconut milk Horchata. The Spicy Tuna has terrific sushi and large portions (try the potato shrimp!), Rubas Bakery has incredible baked goods (croissants and banana bread were outstanding) and good coffee/tea. Want a massage? Go to the hotel spa or try local (just down the street) at Moonlight Spa (90 min massage = $76). Other things to note: Expect to pay $60 (plus tip) one way for a taxi or shuttle from the airport to the hotel and $15 (plus tip) one way to go into San Jose Del Cabo downtown (where you’ll find a myriad of dining and shopping options). Our stay was top notch! "
