We booked a 2 bedroom apartment as we have a toddler who is just learning to walk and it was the perfect space for her to walk around and explore. The lolly buffet was appreciated at the end of the day when walking the city. I will stay here when visiting Melbourne in future. "

"Always enjoy my stay here. The beds are super comfy and the pillow selection is great. The rooms are very quiet although if you are backed onto the lane way their can be some early unloading for goods for the restaurants near by. But I am assuming this isn't often. The staff are very friendly too. It's conveniently located just at the top end of China town so only a short stroll into the CBD and who can say no to a free beverage at 5pm! Also great restaurants close by. Has become a regular stay...

"The room was acceptable, the position was great with easy access to Buses and Trams (a short walk across the Piazza) in Lygon street, additionally 24 hour convenience with 711 across the road. The Carlton Lygon lodge team were always approachable and attentive."

There are plenty of eateries close buy. The tram stop is next to the apartment. I was a bit worried on arrival about the noise from hospital and helipad being very close , but there was no need to . We couldnt hear any noise once the door was closed. The manager was amazing. He went above and beyond...

"Good kitchenette; close to restaurants - good, but that also means there can be some late night noise on the weekends so take earplugs. Close the Aust Catholic Uni, parliament house and easy walking to Fec Square and the National Gallery of Victoria. The Little Gordon cafe next door is excellent for coffee, brekky n lunch."
