Good hotel, reasonably priced in convenient location just a short walk to main tourist areas. Across street from a metro. Easy to find if driving into Lyon. Reading the reviews there were some complaints about parking but I found it pretty easy, literally across the street. No issue at all and front desk will let you pay for the parking when you check out so that you dont need to do it when you drive out.

Our first time at an IBIS hotel, we visited Lyon for the Rugby World Cup. The hotel is conveniently located at the beginning of the Metro line that takes you to the stadium, so you can get a seat on match days. The breakfast is excellent but expensive. Just have a walk around and find yourself a patisserie. Lyon is a beautiful city blessed with excellent public transport and lots of good eating.

Not a great location. We arrived later at night and my husband had to walk through a homeless encampment after he parked the car quite far away. There is a strange window into the bathroom so not a lot of privacy.

Dear Guests,I thank you for your review and I regret that you didn't enjoy entirely your stay.The window you talk about must be the decoration window between the bathroom and the bedroom. It is not a real window, just a part of the wall with glass which allow natural light. The "window" is quite high, so the other person in the room doesn't have a view. I am sorry that your husband got lost, because the Q-Park is at 50m and there is no homeless encampment in the surroundings. Wonderful
Other than the air conditioning not cooling the room, the hotel was amazing. Everything from the staff, the room, and even the bar. Just incredible.

Great staff and central ish.
Great hotel with friendly staff who couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast was really good and at a good price. Central to main shopping areas as well as bars and restaurants. The area by the station is a little off putting. Best way into town is turn left out hitel and then take walkway by car no-entry sign as shown in picture.

Lovely hotel. Very quiet. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was that I ended up with a bathtub when I strongly prefer a shower stall but I don't lnow if that was an option since I never actually asked.

Uncomfortable bed
Service is good friendly staffs speaks english. But the bed is very uncomfortable, it sunked in the middle and very worn out. Bathroom is clean and big size. I'd choose the next door hotel victoria perrache as we stayed there for 2 nights their bed is so much more comfy. Just the toilet size is different

It’s very convenient transportation wise to get to other places. Staff is friendly and room is clean. The shower stall is tiny and you may bump your limbs against the enclosure.

Wow! An excellent little hotel with an amazing proximity to the train station. I was dragging a very large suitcase and was thrilled to see how little that I had to walk! Definitely the best if you are coming in from Paris by train!

Staff is accommodating. Rooms are clean and unexpectedly good size compared to Ibis we stayed near Paris. Location is convenient with restaurant next to it. You could find free parking on the street until 9am or park in a garage for minimal fee.

Visited Lyon for 4 nights and used this hotel as a base to explore the city. It is a cheaper mid-range hotel and we found it fitted the bill perfectly. Large and clean room and bathroom with good shower. The reception staff were unfailingly helpful. The hotel is very well located. My tip would be to take 15 mins or so to orientate yourself when you arrive. To walk to anywhere going northwards from the hotel we cut through Perrache station as otherwise you would have to walk through a dark underpass. Public transport in the city we found to be excellent, fast, and reliable. We purchased the Lyon City Card and made full use of the 'free' public transport and free access to museums and attractions throughout this interesting and engaging city that are included on the card. The Lyon City Cards were an excellent investment for us.

We spent a night while transition from the Flixbus to the train. Room was clean and quite comfortable, however hand soap dispenser was not working. The hotel is very conveniently located not only for the train but centrally located.

This is a nice, clean, recently renovated hotel in a great, central location for walking. We found it a bit hard to get to by car, but once we'd parked it was okay. The area felt a bit gritty to begin with, between the elevated highway, parkade and train station, but it began to feel very livable right away. For the price, this hotel is great value.

Great hotel - well located centrally and right next to a metro station. easy to travel to nearby tourist attractions on foot, take the metro to Vieux Lyon and other sights nearby, and travel anywhere else in the city (e.g. to the Congres for a conference). The price was fantastic for the location, and while the room is on the smaller side, it contains everything you'd need and in a clean and polite hotel. Food nearby. Would recommend! The surrounding area has a more downtown feel, especially at night, but this solo traveller felt safe nonetheless given the crowds in the area with many other hotels and restaurants right nearby. A great stay!

It’s a bit difficult to locate this hotel to begin with, suppose one is not familiar of the area, in fact it is directly across the train station Perrache. Not much of eatery around so prepare or one can go to next door to dine at Bière George, good food & very popular with locals & tourists as well. A short walk for 15 minutes or so to the town center. Staffs at this hotel are very friendly & helpful, we appreciate Lea for her advice & help🙂
