Staff were great. Helpful. Air conditioning in my room wasn’t all that great. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The tub had mold in the caulking. I guess you get what you pay for. It’s very close and convenient location to the restaurants and shops.

Good convenient location for first time visitor. Ximending Walking District very close. Taipei Main Station also extremely handy. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Hotel is frills, but perfectly located. Will definitely stay here again.

Cost performance and location is great. Unfortunately the toilet in our room #669 got clogged when it was used first time. The front desk sent a cleaning person with a plunger and he told us to only use the toilet paper. We were so offended though we asked him to leave the plunger because he was kind. We could have asked for room change but it was only one night stay and we were busy so we used the plunger every time we did our business. The worst part of this incident was not the smelly inconvenience. It was the front staff’s insincerity. Apology? No! When we checked out, they didn’t say anything about it as if nothing happened. Hmm…

It was our first time in Taiwan and the staff at Ximen was absolutely impressive and helpful. They changed our towels daily, cleaned our rooms unless we say no, provided water and soda in the room everyday. The location is excellent. Very close to the night market and is across a bus stop that goes to almost all important locations. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Ximen for a wonderful stay

Very speedy check in and check out. Room is basic and dated with old decoration/wallpaper but mostly clean except for the carpet, which I'm scared to step on barefooted, even though the cleaner comes daily. Otherwise they respond very quickly to my questions/requests. Decent enough for a short stay.

It was very so-so, the hotel would not help me change my reservation when I wanted to split it (check out early, leave for another city for 2 days and return for the weekend) even when I offered to pay more to account for the change in daily rate. I valued the central location and the balcony. The fridge didn't work in my room.

Overprice for the quality of the hotel. Room are old, small and smelly. only the area was fun but still very loud and crowded. After 12hours flight room were only available at 3pm and nowhere to rest.
