Fast and easy check-in and check-out. Front office staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is huge and clean. The hotel also offer free shuttle service to Jonker Street but will need to register at the concierge as there will be limited seats for each trip. Will definitely recommend this hotel. Thumbs up.

Lobby is huge, property is clean. Do take note that 2 double beds is misleading on expedia. It actually means 2 single beds as i was corrected by hotel staff during checkin. In Taipei courtyard Marriot. 2 double beds literally means 2 double beds. I would still give 5 stars for the value

It is an expensive 3 Star
Hotel.com label it wrongly as 4Star, it actually a 3 Star. It is a huge disappointment for the mistake because the price of 4Star. - Cheap renovation design and material - Bad sound proofing - low quality mattress (the spring noise is loud) - long waiting to check in - no view, the room facing residential block - breakfast not enough sitting and additional charge for kids + clean and new + service is fast and good ( when request additional pillow)

We stayed at Courtyard Marriott Melaka for 4 days 3 nights. It is a new hotel in Melaka and my family decided to give it a try for our recent stay. The room configuration of a deluxe suite is good for family of three. However, we were terribly alarmed and learned by accident that their room attendants were not changing or cleaning up the room cups and cutleries using the dishwasher detergents, and they were wiping the water-rinsed cups and cutleries using an used towel that had been used for the past how many rooms that they were cleaning. This is really a serious breach of hygiene which we could not accept for a hotel under Marriott chain. You do not know what could have been transmitted from room to room if there is someone sick from the early room(s) that the room attendants had cleaned and used the contaminated cloth to wiped the other rooms' cups and cutleries. The management needs to seriously look into this lapse of hygiene practice to upkeep the chain's name. To future guests of Courtyard Marriott at Melaka, please ensure your room cups and cutleries are cleaned before used.

We booked for 3 person to a room. But only came with 2 beds. No extra single bed. And all items in the hotel room is meant for 2 person only including towel, pillow, toiletries, etc. And everyday we have to have inform housekeeping to give us 3 sets of the necessities. Every time after housekeeping they again put back only 2 sets of necessities. Wasn’t the housekeeping being already informed there are 3 guest in this room.

A new hotel located around 10 min drive away from Jonker Walk. The surrounding is quiet which I appreciate. Staff is extremely helpful and check-in and out is a breeze. The breakfast spread is excellent. A few negative points are breakfast timing is too short even on weekends. In addition, the toilet configuration is quite bad. By the time we finished showering, half of the toilet floor will be ponded with water. The bath tub is too high and it even difficult for me to get up and down let alone a child or elderly. No matter how you shower, water will flow out via the sides of the tub and out of the glass door, which is quite useless. The hotel should just get rid of bathtub and install a shower area will do. In addition, a small step should be included in the bathroom for kids. It’s impossible for my child to use the tap.

Hotel is newly opened but workmanship for carpentry is found wanting. Wifi is weak. Pillows are a bit on the softer side so affected quality of sleep. Apart from that, staff are well trained and welcoming.

Not your typical Courtyard
Check in very late due to the jam at the border. That was fine, room was put on hold for me because i have informed them earlier. Valet parking was full so i had to drive up to the 5th floor guest parking and take a lift down to the lobby again as the carpark is not link to the rooms. Imagine doing that alone at 4am in the morning. Not exactly ideal for safety. Rooms came in jext as a shock. Felt like i was in a 2-3 star hotel. Its too simple for marriott standard's. Didnt manage to get to the pool as the 8th floor button of the lift seems non functional. For the price i paid, i think i am better off at holiday inn. So long courtyard.

My 2nd time returning. Comfortable bed, everything is new n cosy. Great services from staff. One complaint my room floor is extremely sticky n dirty. My feet was literally black n I had to scrub clean before wearing bathroom slippers. Housekeeping not doing a good job. My room was 1905 connecting with the other room. I stayed on 22/7 for 1 night.

The lobby was great, big and nice. Room was clean, quiet and modern. However, they still need to improve some points to make our stay more pleasant. We made the booking for 3 person and expected that the room would be ready with amenities for 3 person like bath towers, slippers, toothbrush and especially the extra bed. All of them were missing and needed to call down to operator and asked for it. They delivered the extra bed fast but still forgot the slippers and toothbrush. At night when we came back, we had to call down again to ask. On the next day, we asked for late check out 1 more hour and the Front desk Putera extended for us 30 minutes but made the wrong room key. He didn’t ask my Full name or any other information to verify the correct room number and made the key for the room next door. Of course the key was not working and we had to call down from the hall way to ask some one to help bringing up the key. We waited for about 10 mins and no one come up. We had to come down to ask for renewing the key. The same Front desk person assisted us to make the key and said that he made the wrong room key number then gave the key card back to us without any apology and not even smiling. We felt unwelcoming and did expect this unprofessional service at Marriott. Beyond that, everyone was nice, Concierge was very helpful and friendly.

The room is very spacious, and it comes with a comfortable chair should you need to work in the hotel room. The room comes with Super Single Beds and 2 types of pillows that will ensure you have a good rest. The breakfast buffet was tasty and had various types of dishes for one to try. The staffs were very helpful and courteous. This is definitely a property I would come back to.
