"Bedding and towels in room clean. Bedroom had some cobwebs on ceiling and on wallpaper, needs extra care taken. Staff helpful. Breakfast was good, would prefer that bacon was cooked on both sides however this seems the norm these days. Bar and restaurant were nice, sky tv in bar and prices for drinks seemed very reasonable. Didnโt use pool or gym. Great location next to the canal and within 5 minutes walk of Chester city. Would definitely stop again."

"Great hotel, especially for the summer with the a/c. Great location on the canal and a grocery store right next door. Unfortunately no fridge in room and the breakfast was very expensive, but there was free teas and coffee. Great spaces for hanging out for a break in the day."

"The reception staff were very welcoming, but donโt look happy in their jobs. The restaurant/ bar staff were very helpful and polite, only fault was they let people vape while sitting at the bar. We had breakfast and evening meal the food was 10/10 something for everyone, best porridge I have had in a hotel. The room was nice comfortable beds, they need a little bit more of a clean, dust on the door frames was thick and bathroom door on the inside was sticky and dirty. Room 215 Overall the stay was nice, I would recommend and stay again."

"Hotel is fairly new so modern and clean. Housekeeping staff missed things some days. No drawers for clothes but other than that the location is excellent for exploring the main things in the city. The breakfast is nice but coffee machines werenโt up to snuff when the room got busy."

"Thank God my wife wasnโt with me. We would have had to change hotels. Since it was my son and I, we stayed. Here is a short list of the issues: no air conditioning, water stains on the ceiling and the floor, dirty shower curtain that clings to your body, no housekeeping or fresh towels, it smelled of mothballs and rotting fruit. The only redeeming things were the International BeatleWeek festivities. The event was well-run and a ton of fun."

"Had a lovely stay. Our room was on the ground floor close to the pool. It wasn't very big but beautifully decorated. Used the pool on the evening which was lovely. We had included dinner in our booking which we had in Palm Court. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive. We had breakfast in there and had the same experience. We had used Tesco vouchers to pay for part of our stay and that was easy to do. We will definitely come back again."
