Great hotel, very nice terrace.
The restaurant was good, and there is a wonderful traditional dance/music/puppet show performed by excellent artists.
The room was very spacious but didn’t have any windows on the outside : we missed a bit some external natural sunlight. We staied 2 nights so we didn’t mind that much.
Everyone there is very nice and helpful.
Many thanks Yadanarbon we enjoyed the stay!

The staffs are very friendly but spoke and understood limited English.
I enquired about local day tours but the staff could not really give me much useful info., perhaps due to lack of proper training.

It was a nice place to be close to the city, though it is still a developing country. The staff were sweethearts and did their best to help us in every way.

What are a few of the best accommodation options in Mandalay that have indoor pools?
Mandalay Kandawgyi Inn is a short walk from Mahamuni Buddha Temple and features an indoor pool, as well as free self parking, complimentary wireless Internet access, flat-screen televisions and complimentary bottled water. Several other hotels you may want to consider that have indoor pools are Eastern Palace Hotel and Hotel Mega Star.
On top of hotels with indoor pools, what does Mandalay have to offer?
You can also enjoy Mandalay's cocktail bars.
What is there to do in Mandalay?
After a few relaxing laps in the pool, head out and visit some of the noteworthy attractions in and around Mandalay. Consider a trip to Mahamuni Buddha Temple, Jade Market and Sandamuni Paya. A few other contenders are Kuthodaw Pagoda, Mandalay Hill and U Bein Bridge.
Why should I choose a hotel with an indoor pool for my stay in Mandalay?
You won't be unhappy if it starts to rain during your trip to Mandalay, as you can go for a dip in the hotel pool. Especially given that many indoor pools are heated. If you’re looking for a hotel to take the kids for a few nights, one with an indoor pool will check all the boxes!
