"Disappointing experience overall. Customer service is poor, especially for paying extra for the Enclave. Multiple room requests were never fulfilled, and housekeeping sucks. Food was okay. The property layout is confusing and difficult to navigate. The only stand out feature was the spa! "

"We had a wonderful stay! Expedia upgraded me and my family to a villa. It was 8 of us total (4 kids, 4 adults) so it was perfect! 3 bedrooms and 4 baths, full kitchen and living area. Lots of fun activities for the kids. They loved the kids club pool and the beach. Lots of food options to choose from-taco bar, sushi bar, beach food bar, fancy Italian, and of course the buffet for breakfast and dinner. So many pool options and a great size hot tub. We honestly didn’t leave the resort because it had everything we needed and more with 4 smaller kids. 5 star experience! "

"First impression was great—close to the airport, positive transport experience ending in a lovely lobby. After checking in, an oily salesman type guy intercepted us in the lobby with unclear motives. After he took down our info and requested $20, we were signed up for “the welcome breakfast.” Which is just a way to make you sit through a sales pitch for their luxury vacation club. The whole situation was very uncomfortable. Even though it’s an all-inclusive, there are areas that you can't use unless you buy into their vacation club. Finally we got to our room, excited for the Grand Master Suite we reserved--a large bedroom with separate living area described as perfect for a family of 4 looking for space and luxury. So the small room we were given was incredibly underwhelming, with one bed. When someone was finally able to help us, he told me this was “an upgrade” because it had an ocean view. I pointed out that there was only space for two people to sleep. He arranged for two roll away beds, which barely fit. I insisted on getting the room we had paid extra for. It wasn’t available until mid-week. We were on vacation, and we made do for a couple of nights, until we packed all of our things and moved to the other end of the hotel. The staff was not apologetic and would not refund the extra we had paid for the 2 nights we spent in the lesser room. We managed a pleasant stay at SeaDust, but there are many, many options in Cancun. If you can afford better, probably do that."

"Great for the price overall but the property needs some maintenance"

"The resort was good. Room was nice too. The food was really good. Restaurants like dragons, sea salt grill, market cafe was amazing. For the pools, you need to be up early to secure your spot. Else you won’t find it. The washrooms need near the pool stinks and soap was horrible which sticks to the hands. And the tables are not cleaned by the pool chairs. And dirty by next morning you come in. These little things add on which can make it better. But pools are well maintained. Overall really good. "

"The evening shows have the same group of dancers every evening. It is a family resort and multiple nights they had two guys, almost naked, dancing & rubbing each other like they were a couple in love. It was very offensive to young children and to straight couples. (One night it was a rock show, it was nice) A lot of the guests could not find one available lounge pool chair bc some of the family group put one towel in two chairs and take 10 chairs while only four members are seating each time together. Our room mattresses were so uncomfortable & hard. We upgraded our room but the mattress was still the same. Buffett meals never served any kind of steaks, not even the skinny ones. It was only served at the restaurants, which you must reserve and pay additional prices for the better food. The staff were nice. However I ordered some liquor cream to add in my coffee and the waiter recused to go get some from any the bars. The saddest part is that the bars only open at 11:00 am. Front reception has ready nice drinks for arriving guests, when we asked to try one, they said no. It is only for arriving guests. However when we arrived they did not serve us any drinks because our flight was delayed. Nobody waited for us. We were VIP guests. The hotel looks clean, bc they are constantly painting over mold and metal bathroom rusts. (I guess it works). The location is beautiful. The food and mattresses are the worst part plus the two male dancers. "

"The place was okay. The view is beautiful, big pool, multiple restaurants (but most are for other guest). The staff was the most disappointing part. When you are ordering food or drinks most of them look at you like “why is this person bothering me?” They are extremely slow with service, they just don’t care for the guest. Not all staff members were like this but out of all of them about 2-3 were kind and very helpful. Another annoying part is the moment you check-in right away they drag you to the membership conversation. We were tired from our flight, it was hot and we just wanted to eat and go enjoy the place but no first listen to how you can become a member even though no one asked. At this point, my family and I will not be returning to this hotel, it was also our first time in Cancun and it was not a good impression. We have been to Punta Cana to different resorts and hands down we loved it. If we do decide to become members somewhere it will probably be in Punta Cana."
