Don’t leave your tray outside your door the monkeys get to it. Woke up to breaking cups and utensils scattered everywhere. Good place to getaway for a few days and staff were very attentive.

Myself I did not enjoy my stay here. It is far out in the jungle with nothing nearby. I did not have transportation so it was not good for me. If staying here you need a car. Also it is about 30 min to anything nearby. Just a quiet secluded place to do nothing.

Perfect for those who want to unwind
A bit pricey and quite far from the centre of Subic Bay Freeport but well worth it. The resort is very private; the beach is for the exclusive use of the guests. The rooms are large, the bathroom as well. WiFi signal is very strong (in the common areas, the room and even the beach). The staff are very pleasant (from the guard who guided us when we parked our car, to reception, to everyone we met in the resort); they seem eager to serve and always do so with a smile. The beach is nice and clean, so is the infinity pool. We saw a couple of monkeys near the beach and on the road just outside the resort (guests are advised to always keep their doors/windows closed). Breakfast was fantastic. Best to have your meals here once you check in because the resort is a 30-minute drive from the centre of the freeport. They charge a corkage if you bring in drinks (soda, alcohol) but you can bring your own water (they provide complementary bottled water in the room). You can bring snacks (crisps) but not food. It is a very quiet place and perfect for those who want to relax (but probably not for those who want a vibrant nightlife -- there is none).

The room was good at casita!! But the hotel area was not fine it was in the middle of the forest, no shuttle service u need to call taxi from the city if you want to go somewhere and its very expensive, its better to bring your own snack or drink coz its not advice to buy at the hotel,,, the food menu is very few if your gonna stay for long vacation your gonna run out of food to order ,,,

The pool and the sea was great. The room is also ok, except for the bed bugs under our pillows on the first night, though they address it by transferring us to another room. But other than that, the room was great. The staff are great, good food and a very reasonable food price. My kids love the pool. I love the food and the serenity of the place, it is secluded and very quiet.

Not that crowded and good for small families.. Maybe a little bit overpriced though facilities are great,,maybe try making it more reasonable especially when it comes to food since guests have no other access to food shops nearby.. It's a sanctuary so don't expect too much water activities.. It's a good and quiet place to relax.. Love the exclusivity..

Very little to offer with respect to activities. Rooms are good - view is nice. Very little options for activity. Pool is too small to accommodate relaxing atm and beach area when there are too many guests - especially large Filipino families.

Not the resort you're looking for
I'm pretty easy going and this is my first bad review of a place ever out of years of travel, so trust me when I say this place is not great. Good: the views and location are wonderful, the water is absolutely amazing and you have direct access from.the resort. Bad: service is not great, staff barely speaks English and are not friendly. Breakfast closes early and so does the kitchen, by 9pm you have to have ordered. Prices are high too. There is nothing around so if you miss the cut you're waiting until the following morning to eat... Facilities are scarce too, barely anything to do but use the pool, and it's too small to fit all the guests. No internet in the rooms and bad signal, so forget about getting work done or anything like that. No gym, table tennis or anything indoors, and the volleyball court is in shambles.

Over expensive hotel
Nothing special in this hotel except clean and soacious rooms. Not worth your money. No wifi in rooms, restaurant service is very poor. Corkage fee for every cooked food you bring in, horrible location about 19km from city proper with no nearby restaurants. Stay away there are lots of other hotel in Subic.

Don’t believe in everything you read. I thought I made a bad choice in booking in Kamana because of the bad reviews that are out there but I guess the owners took the reviews seriously and acted on the things that needed to be improved. Overall experience was really great and we will definitely go back again

A Real Sanctuary
I've lowered my expectations at first, upon reading the bad reviews about this place. But actually, I felt like it was quite the opposite of what my family and I have experienced during our 3D2N Holy Week stay Pros: -It's the perfect R&R place for people who want to stay away from noise, beach parties and too many crowd (even in fully-booked days) -Staff are helpful, attentive and polite -They also granted my request to have a room at the 1st floor since I'm with my senior parents and an infant. Call them (not email) days ahead of your stay, and they will address your request -Most reviews say that their restaurant menus are expensive. IT IS, but considering the quality and the amount of servings they give, it's worth it with the right food! - Our family enjoyed our breakfast buffets - Pool was well-maintained during our stay - Beach is good for snorkeling (lots of fish and underwater boulders to see) For further improvement: - I find their mandatory extra person/bed rate policy a bit pricey for P1980/P2200 per night. They have this 4pax per room policy, but they don't have an accommodation for 5pax. Maybe they can work on having rooms with 3 beds or a family room for 5? As for the extra bed, it is comfortable (I paid extra P4600 for 2N) - No wifi on rooms. Wifi at the lobby is slow. Globe data is weak - Rocky beach - No hair dryers (but no big deal) - My dad thinks that the resort could be better with more landscape gardens and hammocks Overall, I think we'll comeback :)

The hotel stay was just okay. There’s only one restaurant opens from 7-10 breakfast and up to 10pm for room service only. Not much of variety of food. Limited food selection. Weird part is, they charge a corkage fee when you bring food from outside, when there room service is only available up to 10pm. So if you’re a diabetic and people from other countries who have jetlag, you’ll starve to death until they open again at 7am. Otherwise, just pay for corkage fee then. That’s a stupid greedy policy. Worst part is Wifi is only available in the hotel lobby. Not available in the room. For heavens sake, it’s the 20th century and WiFi should be a must!!! Don’t be so cheap. The pool is small andcan get crowded. There’s no actual beach. The beach that they have is so rocky and dangerous to swim. If you’re looking for a beach to swim, this is not a place to go. Positive side were staffs were pleasant, friendly and accommodating.
