"The last time I used it many years ago, it was a very nice comfortable hotel. I booked this hotel because of my previous experience. However, I got a big shock when see the hotel in such a dilapidated state. If they really want to keep it as a hotel and attract customers, they better do a total revamp of the hotel. It was the worst hotel (if I can call it) I have been to. It is really sad to see that it has fallen to this sorry state."

"One of our favourite stays in Malacca. The service staff are excellent and go all the way to help. However, they had to shuttle between Heereen Palm Suites and Heereen Straits Hotel.

was a decent spread of local food and we loved the handmade epok epok with lots of fillings (and feelings). Great location but a nightmare getting Grab into and out of the area during the long holiday weekend, otherwise it should be fine. Overall, a pleasant stay for a family of 4. "

"Beautiful hotel very close to Jonker Street and great restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful, and room was clean and comfortable. Very nice remodel of shop houses and we would stay again. I rated it 4 stars as there are a couple of things to improve. Would be nice to have robes provided for use. We were put in a disabled persons’ room which wasn’t a problem except there’s a lack of surfaces in both the room and bathroom. No shower enclosure so water went everywhere. AC was stuck on cold...
