This is a fine hotel and I have stayed there many times when I go to Japan, however the breakfast offered has declined in the quality of the food .

We had a great stay. We had a deluxe room with 2 large twin beds. Great mattress and pillows to sleep on. Less than a 5 minute walk from the Nara JR Station. Look for the big sign on top of the building at the corner when you walk out side directing you to the hotel. Check in was seem less. Staff were great. Lots of food options in the area. If you like Indian Food and are tired of Japanese food then you have to try Manna. It’s less than 10 minutes away and the food was amazing!

We chose it because it was close to the train but was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was at this price point. Would recommend staying the night in Nara vs just doing the day trip from Kyoto if staying here again.

The hotel is roughly 3-5 mins away from the nearest transit station. The area around the property is pretty good. It can be noisy at times, especially during the night, as the hotel is right by the main road and there are bikers that want to flaunt their lifestyles during the nights. The room I booked is a Superior Double Room and it's pretty nice. Spacious, large bed, HVAC is functional, decent size table with a small fridge underneath, and there's a couch. The bathroom size is alright - it will be inconvenient for you if you're a big or tall person, otherwise for Japanese people it's decent. The staff is pleasurable. They know decent English that checking-in is a smooth process. They're also very friendly and gives off a kind atmosphere. Amenities are alright - laundry room is pretty small though - almost like a walk-in closet. There's a restaurant downstairs right by the main lobby. Overall a decent place to stay at. One complain that I have is that there's only seemingly one wi-fi access point - if you rely on it, you're going to have a bad time, so make sure you have your prepaid mobile sim/pocket wi-fi ready. A small investment in adding additional router devices/range extenders for wi-fi will be appreciated. Will stay in again.

The room was not as pictured in the photos shown at booking, there was no column in the booking photos. The column made it difficult to get into bed and made the sofa practically useless. The bathroom has a step up of about 6 inches and if you are over 6 feet tall your head will hit the ceiling when showering.

Absolutely amazing hotel. I stayed here for 1 week and was impressed by the quality of this hotel and cost performance. Room: It seems that the hotel was recently renovated and all the design in halls and rooms was make with good taste. It was super clean inside the room. The room was spacious and quiet. You can control heating or cooling by yourself and adjust it in your room. As a bonus, there is radio installed in your room, which you can switch on and listen to music if you want. Staff and communication: Staff was very kind and helpful, they spoke English and responded to all our requests. Inside they have all the explanations translated in English, you will have no problems with communicating or making extra requests. They have a lot of things to rent out from iron to nail clippers. Amenities: They have a wide variety of organic amenities inside the room, like skin lotion, skin milk etc. Breakfast; In addition to a regular buffet-style food, for vegetarians they have salad and two different kinds of curry that do not have animal-derived products. And I would recommend this hotel for curry-lovers. Location: Location is great, several minutes walk from JR Nara station and just 15 min. walk to the Nara park and most of attractions. Bonus points: At the lobby you will find warm stones massager for legs, you can enjoy it after a long day of walking. Every time I go to Nara, I will make sure to stay in this hotel. You have made a good impression of this hotel chain.

Very close to Nara Station and walking distance to Nara Park (and you get to walk thru the nice shops, restaurants and game center). The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate extra bedding for my kids and were very friendly. Google Maps gave us incorrect directions and led us to the back of the building, after you leave Nara Station you will make a left and if it tells you to make a right at the Pachinko building, don’t. Go straight down the street and the hotel will be shortly on the right.

A unique experience!
We really liked the “ashiyu” free use at the lobby. It was what we needed after a full day of sight seeing and a lot of walking. An excellent service !
