Luxurious accommodations in a cave setting that offers the best of cappadocia in terms of food, location, hospitality and amazing views! We were upgraded to a bigger suite as a gesture of friendliness. The hotel also provides travel services-an added bonus. Staff members were warm and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

The property was nice and the staff very helpful and friendly. If I had one complaint, since the room doesn’t have air conditioning and it is sort of built into the caves, the rooms get musty and warm since there is no circulation of air. It’s really noticeable after taking a shower. But that’s a minor complaint and wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

Excellent 3 day stay at this hotel. Great rooms with beautiful suites, probably THE best breakfast I’ve had in Turkey (visited 5 times). Every part of the hotel has a breathtaking view. Staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Mustafa at the front has been our trip planner, navigator, restaurant pointer and an excellent co ordinator for all things. He even managed a thermos of fresh chai sent to our room even after the kitchen was closed. This is the kind of things you’d expect from a property like this. Also, Doosh, Boosa and Furqan were great at helping us when we arrived 5 hours prior to check in time. They took care of things firsthand. Overall…… superb location, service and beautifully appointed and decorated rooms.

Highly recommend
First of all I have to say it was my BF Birthday. We spend one night at this hotel and it was fabulous. We booked a basic room but because I booked at a restaurant and ordered flower and cake, they upgraded us to a beautiful suit. At the room we had jacuzzi, candles. The room and service was awesome. Coffee lover, they have Nespresso machine at the room. The restaurant is not at the hotel but they do have transportation. The food was delicious. The balcony is so cute. Breakfast also served at the hotel yard with marbles view. Wake up at 6:15 and take a beautiful photo from the yard of the hotel with a view of balloons. Everything was super great. I have been in lots of hotels around the world, this hotel was one of the hotels that I won’t forget about it. Thanks to all professionals staffs

For sure I would return
Hotel located in the best area to see the balloons in cappadocia. Huge open view! A breath-taking. Breakfast is a la carte but enough, with different cheese and homemade jam and bread. Being a cave hotel it's hard to be very clean so inside the room you have to use slippers at all time. No aircon but don't need even during the summer. The rules of the hotels could be more flexible. We requested late checkout and it was not possible if we do not pay whole rate. We asked for half rate but not negotiable. Besides, every service requested like airport transfer its more expensive than usual. I belive hotel put a good margin in their account.

Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Our cave room had muted lighting but otherwise perfect. Our daughter joined us at the last moment and they were very helpful in putting an extra bed in the room. A very special place.

Do not expect too much from their service.
Asked reception to prepare breakfast at 5am for photo shooting with Hot Air Balloon, reception agreed to it and said would prepare nice breakfast with carpets on top of the restaurant. Woke up at 5am and breakfast was not prepared, reception said breakfast is always at 8am and made excuse that carpets were wet but it did not rain the night before. Had breakfast the next day at 8am though, food was good but we already felt disappointed. The living room was too dark to walk around after sunset (apparently they set up an extra bed for me there) and I kept banging my feet and leg on the coffee table or the side of the bed (definitely not on purpose). Maybe they could install more lights. However, the most of the staffs were friendly and the hotel was nice with quiet surrounding and only short drive to center and Uchisar Castle. Food in the restaurant was also good, good coffee, nice view of the valley.

Our breakfast starts at 08:00 in the morning as mentioned Expedia.com.Breakfast with balloons starts at 05:00 a.m in the morning and if you want breakfast with balloons we have to call extra staff for kitchen and service. Our kitchen and service staff comes at 07:00 a.m in the morning and if you make reservation for breakfast with balloons they will come 04:00 a.m in the morning. Because of this situation we will charge extra fee for breakfast with balloons. About your situation you didn't make breakfast with balllons reservation you want carpets and pillows to take pictures but the weather was rainy this day. Our staff prepared the carpets and because of the rain he gathered all the carpets and pillows.Because of the weather all balloon flights were cancelled. He assummed that you didn't want to take picture. When you came and you want breakfast in the carpets he put all the carpets and pillows. But he couldn't serve you breakfast because you didn't make reservation for early breakfast with balloons. I think there is a misunderstanding about this situation and we are sorry for your dissappointment. About the room lights;this rooms are real cave and our architect decorate the rooms as real caves.Because of this lights are not too much. If you want extra lights we will send it to your room. My stay in Millstone Cave Suites in Kapadokya
The place has a terrific location, with an astounding view of the valleys within Kapadokya. Considering that rooms are caved into rock, they are very good but a little bit smaller and darker than regular room hotels. Service was very good, specially at the restaurant where quality of food and originality of dishes were excellent.

Great hotel. Clean, spacious and friendly staff. The views are breathtaking. Our friend had a birthday and we wanted to buy a cake for him from the restaurant. The hotel didn’t sell cakes but they sent someone into town to buy a cake for us! They went over and beyond which was truly appreciated. Book this hotel now! Would highly recommend!!

the hotel is relatively new, so there are ups and downs. the rooms are furnished pretty well but the execution did not seem completed. for example, we stayed at the 2-story chamber, but the stairs was very unstable. the bathroom had a hair dryer but there was no outlet for it in the bathroom.. the view and food at the restaurant(millocal) was fine.

We arrived late at night and they were as welcoming as if we would’ve arrived at 2pm. We traveled two women for the first time to Turkey and had arranged, with the hotel, the transfer from the airport, which was an hour away. When we walked out of the airport the guy was not there for us, yet we contacted the hotel and they resolved it immediately. Also, the staff at the restaurant is AMAZING, as well as the food. The bed was very comfortable and th le room spacious, despite from being arranged inside a cave. We also loved their dog, that was a plus and made us feel like home. I will definitely recommend this hotel!!

Best part of our stay was the hotel breakfast, big lush rooms and the view from any part of the hotel. Sadly that's where it ends, i had contacted the hotel over a month prior to our stay and had pre-booked quad bike tour, dinners, hot air balloon flight and day picnic. Arrived at the hotel and none of it had been booked in, they didn't tell us that our hot air balloon had been cancelled until we asked. We had dinner at the hotel on our first night and took 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order and than an additional 45 minutes before our meal was served, they forget several of our dishes and the food wasn't very good. Also getting any assistance or information from the female hotel manager at the time was nearly impossible, we had to follow her up on EVERYTHING. The hotel rooms had no aircon or air flow so sleeping was differcult and it was too hot to be in the room during the day. Overall was disappointed with our experience, we were so excited to be in Cappadocia and this hotel was our treat for the duration of our trip and it ended up being the least impressive.

Quiet hotel with a good view!
The hotel was nice, clean, and really cozy for our 3 night stay. we did wish the hotel had a swimming pool that we could have lounged at during the day time, but we found plenty of things to do in Cappadocia! The best part was the girl at the reception area that checked us in and pretty much helped us with everything. I believe her name is Suh. She was amazing!

Amazing hotel with great hospitality!
One of the best boutique hotels we stayed in. Service was exquisite and the staff went out of the way to make our stay memorable and pleasant. They even offered us a nanny service for our daughter so we could do certain activities like balloon ride and explore valleys which weren't baby friendly. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Uchisar is the best place to stay in Cappadocia region because of its wonderful, panoramic view of the valley. The Millstone Hotel is designed very well. The owners are highly attentive to visitors' views, problems if any. We stayed as a family in room 1006. It was very warm on the first night and the owners proposed us to change rooms or lower the heating. In any other hotel, we would be given excuses. Coming to the peak part of our review. The breakfast is the best we had ever had in any other hotel in Turkey. We woke up to air balloons and enjoyed the most tasteful breakfast.

This hotel is an example of what a boutique hotel must be. The staff is always there ready to help you and they do not have a NO for answer. We arrived quite late and we were welcomed with smiles and a warm feeling. Didn't mind it was late, they accommodate us in their fancy private restaurant for dinner. Next morning breakfast was mouth watering, it was impossible to stop eating from all those fruits, nuts, salads, honey... a real buffet served at your table. The room was quite an apartment, maybe we got lucky but it was two floors in a cave decor with all modern feeling you might need. The open shower was amazing. The first morning, we had a misunderstanding with the tour guide and they forgot about us, but the hotel manager arranged us a private cab that took us in a private and amazing tour (reasonably priced). Overall, we had an amazing experience. Other reviews are right, location and views are unbeatable. By the way, owner and manager are always there... that speaks for itself! Will I stay here again? Our Stay at Millstone was very comfortable and refreshing. Khaskav the hotel owner was very helpful in making us make reservations for the excursions along with the manager Burcu. Me and my wife were delighted by the excellent breakfast which was served overlooking the beautiful property of Millstone. It was really nice of them to upgrade us to a bigger suite and the rooms were spacious and cozy. Highly recommended place to be to have a peaceful and a lovely stay.

Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing staff!!!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Millstone Cave Suites for 3 nights in September, 2015 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. First and foremost is the amazing, friendly staff - from the hotel owner who was onsite every day to the manager and other personnel who went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable and relaxing. Rooms: There are both cave suites and more traditional rooms (also made out of stone). All the rooms are very well appointed with simple elegance. Great bathtubs and very comfortable beds. Food: Breakfast (included with the room) was outstanding. Each table receives its own selection of cheese, nuts, fruit, meats, homemade breads, honey, jams, etc. Eggs are offered made to order, along with coffee, tea, and water. We had lunch and dinner as well - nice meze selection handmade on site and dinner included food direct from their own tandoor oven. We had lamb and shrimp from the tandoor oven, which was wonderful. Nice wines and even some raki with dinner. Staff: The staff were a big part of what made our stay such a wonderful experience. Alper the owner was on site each morning to greet us by name and was very attentive to any of our needs. Burcu, the manager, was so helpful with car rentals, hot air balloon rides, advice on tours, making dinner reservations, and pretty much anything else. Muslim made all of our meals special, and always accommodated any requests with a laugh and a smile. Activities: So much to do around Cappadocia!

perfect vacation
everything was perfect！staffs and owner super helpful and friendly. the place was built on stone caves so the rooms are very unique，loved the decors，comfortable beds. hotel faces the rose valley，the views are quite breathtaking. in the morning you can see hot air balloons all across the valley. the restaurant serves authentic turkish food，also very enjoyable. overall it was an unforgettable experience，definitely recommend.

Great stay.
Rooms were very comfortable. They took care of airport transfers, and tours. Breakfasts were amazing! We has a wonderful time. Some of the staff couldn't speak English well but they were still very friendly and tried their best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
