This property definitely shows the uniqueness of your if you’re expecting shiny glitzy atmosphere like an if five star hotel it’s not here but if you want something unique comfortable that has every amenity you need for a comfortable stay and enjoyable atmosphere this is the place to stay. every room is different. Every patio is different. It’s just very very unique.

Cute, historic inn in a wonderful location.
We had an exceptional 2-night stay at Blue60 Marigny Inn in New Orleans. The inn's charming decor and attention to detail created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring our comfort throughout our visit. They even allowed us to keep our bags on location after checkout for over 8 hours until we went to the airport for our return flight. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the vibrant Marigny neighborhood and enjoy the lively atmosphere of New Orleans. Our overall experience exceeded expectations, making Blue60 Marigny Inn the ideal choice for a memorable stay in the heart of NOLA. We look forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful and authentic New Orleans experience. Five stars without a doubt!

Funky and different
Interesting property with variable rooms. My family all stayed here for a long weekend, occupying 4different rooms. They were all a good size but some were nicer than others. Our bed was comfortable but so high off the ground, I wished it had a step stool to climb in and out of. I’m a woman who is 5’2 and it was a challenge. Another room for the same price had a lovely seating area making it almost like a suite. One of the beds I’m told was very soft and uncomfortable so I think it’s a bit of a gamble as to what you might get. It is in a good location and the property is clean and well maintained.

We have been completely unaware that the height of the bed was an issue in that room, but just over the last few weeks it's been mentioned several times, so we ordered a step stool last week to address this issue....next time you visit, getting in and out of bed will be a breeze!Thanks again for staying and look forward to seeing you in future travels!! First rate owners, comfortable room with a great bed. Room was clean and well furnished. The outdoor spaces allowed us to enjoy a cup of coffee before venturing out. Brunch at Who Dat was top pick for great food. So much to check out within walking distance. The only thing that detracted from our stay, and out of the control of the property owners, was some loud street traffic into the night. Thanks so much!

After two consecutive years of staying at the Blue60, in the Porch Suit, my wife and I are intending to stay there every January, for 1 week. It's an absolute delight, within walking distance of Starbucks, Walgreens, Robert's Grocery, The French Quarter, Who Dat Cafe, Magg's Bar, and Frenchman Street.

Practically a nightmare …
After booking a 4-night stay, I received instructions to text the property in advance of the time of my arrival. I did that (and still in my texts). Upon arrival as stated, it was raining and cold (no one’s fault), and I went to the property, and no one was there. I rang the Ring doorbell and no answer. So I called the designated number and left a VM. I then texted again asking someone to call so I can get to my room. Again, I have the text strings. No one returned the call or text. So I called Hotels.com number. I was on hold with them for literally 90 mins. (again, I have screenshots). Then 2 days later, Blue60 texts me (same thread) and asked was everything okay. I never got any instructions or call back or texts about how to checkin (and nothing in spam/junk folders). Here’s the kicker - when I responded to the text that I never checked in because I never got instructions or a call or text back, there was no a reply whatsoever. … After 90 mins. in my car waiting for both Blue60 and hotels.com, I hung up and got back online and booked another hotel, and drove to it. 2 days later, I called Hotels.com, explained everything, and they refunded me the full amt. paid to Blue60.

Hi. We apologize for the recent issues you had accessing the property. The company you booked through makes hotels communicate with guests using their messaging system. We sent your check in instructions prior to your arrival through their system. They were never delivered to you, and after hours on the phone with them, all we have received was an email stating that they were unable to send you the emailed instructions due to "technical difficulties". We sent you a message through their system the day of your arrival also when we heard about this, and issued you a refund that afternoon, which it sounds like they also didn't deliver. Believe me, this is frustrating for us also, your room was prepared and waiting for your arrival, but we still can't get any answers from them as to why your instructions were not delivered. Again, we apologize and will continue to try to resolve this with them.

Loved staying here. Nice, clean, safe and comfortable. We were able to walk or use public transportation for everything so great location. Grocery store accross the street which was very convenient. Nearby are some great places to eat. Owners were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Charming Hidden Gem
Charming inn and very private - a welcome change from our last hotel in New Orleans which was a block from Canal and Bourbon. Very close to Snug Harbor which sadly was closed (mid week and mid August) and a 15 minute walk from my favorite patisserie in the French Quarter, Croissant D’Or. Hosts were fantastic and so helpful. Love the stained glass and mirrors a plenty in the Porch Room.

I cannot say enough good things about Blue60 Guest House. Joshua is a gifted photographer and wonderful host. The rooms are decorated in a very engaging way. The guest book has a nice variety of recommendations for a variety of tastes. We stayed in the Desire Suite in the front of the house, so we were aware of the street noise on Elysian Fields, but for us happy street noise is one the best things about New Orleans. We loved the neighborhood. The room was well stocked and comfortable. Perfect for my 88-year-old mother and me. The patio was a wonderland of garden happiness, complete with a very fine kitty - the lovely Miss Colette. I love this place. I'm actively looking for a reason to return soon!

We had an absolute blast at Blue60! Joshua was a very informative and gracious host who had our suite well stocked and comfortable! There are so many touches here that made our stay feel like home, from the thoughtfully curated decor, bedding, and bookshelves, to the hosts own artwork and the fabulous coffee maker. The bathroom has everything you could need, from shampoo to a blow dryer, to dish soap and a sponge. They thought of everything! The courtyard and hot tub areas are like an oasis just on the other side of the fence! The grounds are gorgeously adorned with local flowers and fruit trees, and the resident kitty Colette absolutely stole our hearts! I missed my own pup while we were away so it was nice to give out some scratches! The two bars in the area are fun and welcoming and have good drink specials. Parking was easy our whole yep which was surprising as it was St. Patrick’s Day. I would definitely return and plan my trip around their availability. Completely satisfied lifetime guests here!

This property is unique, quirky, clean, gorgeously appointed, just everything I want in a guest house. I only want to be on Frenchman, so if your business was closer to canal, it would be a hike, but perfect for me in every way. Thanks to Joshua for a warm and easy visit.

Blue60 guest house is a clean, cute, eclectic, comfortable place but one of its best features is the owner. He’s thoughtful and attentive without being in your business. Joshua made sure we had what we needed and considered things like pointing out the space heater in the closet on cool nights. We were there for a weekend of Mardi Gras parades and we were able to walk to many of our destinations. There is a grocery and coffee place right across the street and all kinds of restaurants within walking distance. Did I mention this place is clean??? And comfortable! We will stay here again! Thanks for having us, Joshua!

This hotel was AMAZING! The owner, Joshua was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our trip special. The rooms are each very unique and comfortable to be in. The garden sitting areas are percet for morning coffee or evening wine. It is located within walking distance to French Quarters but also a close walk to amazing food and entertainment outside of the French Quarters. I will definitely stay here again when I visit New Orleans in the future.

The Porch room was a heaven-send. Beautif garden, porch swing, patio tae with chairs, 180 year old historuc house. The ow er/operator Josh Smith, is an amazing host and soul. Only 5 minutes from Frenchman st (the best street in New Orleans). And theres an awso.e cat that has an extra toe (thumb) on each paw that visists the room every morning and evening. I can't speak highly enough for the property, the Porch room, and the owner!

This is the most wonderful guest house with the sweetest kitty Colette. Joshua the owner is so kind and helpful. The garden is like a little hidden sanctuary. Loved it!

Perfection
This was the PERFECT place for our girls getaway. Joshua was an amazing host: completely available for anything we needed, yet invisible. The accommodations had the perfect mix of quintessential New Orleans funky eclecticism combined with everything we needed. Easy walking distance to amazing local restaurants, the quarter, and only a block off Frenchman’s Street. Highly recommend Blue60 for convenience, comfort and character. Claudette the house cat who came to visit every day was just an added bit of friendliness. We will definitely be back for our next New Orleans adventure.

Oasis in New Orleans
Such an incredible place to stay. A little oasis, perfectly situated near Frenchmen’s St with lots of amazing jazz clubs, and just a 15 minute walk from French Quarter and Bourbon St. Joshua was the perfect host. Even helped us when we arrived and discovered a nail in our tire. He set us up with a repair shop just down the road. I can’t wait to return!!

It was the perfect distance away but, very close to all the excitement the city was offering. Joshua was so pleasant and helpful & his property is gorgeous! There is a supermarket right across the street along with an electric bike station. There is no other place we'll stay when we're in NOLA!!

Perfect!
I loved this place! The courtyard has very many swings that you can read on. The room was extremely cozy and comfortable. And my bath in the clawfoot tub was superb. Joshua did everything he could to make my stay comfortable. I usually go to New Orleans for work events and stay at chain hotels like The Ritz or the Intercontinental, which are nice but feel very sterile. The Blue60 reminded me how much I love this city. 10 out of 10. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in New Orleans.

The property was quirky and beautiful. Had a very nice stay here. Room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed and more. The bathroom was very cool and we loved having both a bathtub & shower. The house kitten was absolutely adorable. The only issue was the noise, as we were on the edge of the property and other guests would talk late into the night and in the early morning; the room is not soundproof unfortunately.

Will return for sure. So I have been to New Orleans probably 40 times and this is the first place that I will try to stay at again. I have stayed at plenty of nice places, but love trying something new and love finding "a deal." Everything is great from the rooms (try to stay where your entrance is not facing the road) to the court yard with a hot tub to the owner/ manager to the neighborhood. Don't be a lame tourist and stay in the quarter. The marigney and bywater district is where you can hang out with locals. Oh yeah, the house cat is adorable and sooo friendly. Would stop by again if Blue60 was sold out just to say hi to the cat. If you are homophobic this neighborhood is not for you.... heck, just don't even waste any N.O. space on yourself and visit another city

I loved the room. It was pretty huge and looks better than the pictures. The room was very clean and had everything - microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, etc. The garden was amazing and a great place to chill. 1 to Will as well - he is a great host and is every ready to help.

Only giving them 4 because first night we had mentally unstable guest and we didn’t sleep at all.. but hotel owner Joshua was nice to give us back our money for night. Excellent location and close to French quarter. Room was perfect we stayed in magnolia room . Ty again Joshua!

Don't hesitate! Like staying with great relatives.
This is a terrific home away from home stay if you want the true Local New Orleans neighborhood feel. It is not the Garden District. Price was great, the service and recommendations were spot on. Such a comfortable place. Communication great. Really enjoyed the time here.

Unique inn right in the heart of the Marigny. Josh is a wonderful host. The rooms are great and the courtyard is like a tropical oasis. Convenient location. Highly recommended!

Josh & Will are great hosts with a very unique and comfortable peice of property. You'll feel right at home when you stay here. The backyard is very NOLA Esque with its colorful wall mural and neon lights at night. We unfortunately never got to check out the Jacuzzi due to some rain and limited time but it looked very inviting! Also, the location is great, please check out Mags next door to meet the locals for some great drinks and say hi to Princess Stephanie (living legend). Everyone was very friendly, will stay here again in the future.
