"Great safe place to stay. Plenty of food shops around location. My only concern was the fact i book as ####Mr#### was told i booked into a female dorm instead of a male dorm So a little disappointing i was charged and extra $10 Singapore dollars for correction. "It’s such a shame because the staff here are extremely helpful and welcoming but this hostel is not clean at all. I’ve stayed at many hostels in Singapore but I cannot recommend this one. Beds are very uncomfortable, no windows, toilets and showers are in same room so toilet is constantly soaked, many insects crawling walls. Once again, it’s such a shame this hosel is like his as owners are so kind."

"You get what you pay for. Beds have no privacy, blanket is incredibly thin, there's little to no sound isolation, and to be honest the rooms smell kind of bad. Lots of disrespectful backpacker-type tourists, many of whom don't respect the rules (including taking off shoes). Would like to see rules better enforced, but it seems they don't have the staff for it. The good things are proximity to bus station and some decent restaurants nearby.
