"Great place, wonderful staff. Really don’t need to book any other activities on Sentosa, much better to just stay at the resort. Some rooms could do with a refresh but not an issue. My favourite hotel."

Overall pleasant stay!
"Located near Suntec city and eateries, comes with fully equiped kitchette, oven and washer-dryer but don't suggest washing the clothes as it takes ages for the dryer to dry the clothes. View at the swimming pool is awesome but need to book a slot at the receptionist counter and you have to collect ..."

"Very nice stay near the airport. We were able to take the MRT to the airport and it only took around 15 min in the early am. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a useful kitchenette and mini fridge for anyone that would like to cook."

"We stayed 8 nights at the Grand Copthorne and originally booked a king room and decided when we arrived to upgrade to a deluxe king room only because we were told they were bigger and more suitable for an 8 day stay. The upgrade was granted for an extra fee of $30++. which we accepted. Being put in an old deluxe king room was disappointing to say the least, old carpets and skirting boards that haven't been cleaned for many years were spotted straight away, with the all black marble shower and finding the black door stop on the shower floor was dangerous. Another room was asked for and it was a newer room, cleaner and simply had been re-painted, new carpet and wall decorations. So much better.
The hotel itself has great breakfast suiting all nationalities, clean foya area and sits on the Singapore river. Only 700 mtrs of easy walking to the Great World shopping Center which has plenty of options for eating and supermarkets.
This area seems to be the only area along the Singapore river that has an abundance of trees along its banks.
Dining strip over the river has excellent restaurants and is only 100 mtrs from the Grand Copthorne. The staff are a great asset to this hotel and will assist you with anything you may need. Pool is okay and could use a refreshing upgrade. Apart from the poor older room experience we would definitely stay here again.
