The Westin New Orleans

8/10 Good

"The Westin New Orleans has a perfect location and we would definitely consider coming back. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed on the 11th floor, which offered a really nice view. The one disappointment was the water pressure , it was very low at both the faucet and the shower, which was a bit frustrating. The lobby is lovely, and the staff was accommodating. Valet parking was on the pricey side. We received some vouchers, which was a nice gesture, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use them during our stay. Overall, a great experience and a hotel I'd happily return to."

"The overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. My room was cleaned daily, and I appreciated coming back to a fresh, clean space each day. The room itself was very clean, and the air conditioner worked properly, which made my stay comfortable. The staff truly made my experience even better. The front desk receptionist, Adrianna (if I’m spelling her name correctly), was absolutely polite and displayed outstanding customer service skills. She greeted my partner and me every morning with kindness and professionalism. Corey and another young man whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch were also wonderful. They helped with our bags and greeted us daily, always making us feel welcomed. A special mention to Mr. Eddie he was a book of knowledge when it came to New Orleans! If you wanted to know anything about the city, he could tell you, and he even shared interesting things about himself as well. He added a personal touch that made our visit memorable. I was actually sad that I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to Adrianna before leaving. Staff members like her truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and appreciated the hospitality shown throughout my visit."

"A modern interior for sure. Bathroom had a rain shower that got the job done but not sure if I liked it. Great TV channels though didn't watch much. The location can't be beat. So close to the French Quarter yet much quieter. I'd probably stay here again"

"The check-in counter rep wrote QT on the key card with the assumption we would know that meant the elevator banks we should use. No.. There was no a single bottle of water in the room. Considering the room rate, this is how Marriott is saving money? Room was on the 21st floor. There was no hot water. I called for assistance and was told someone will come to check. For? To tell me there is no hot water, that perhaps the broiler is in basement and it takes 15 minutes of running and wasting water to get lukewarm water to shower. Because that’s exactly what happened. Not good because I was traveling with someone else who had the same issue and did the same. I can imagine how much water is being wasted considering the number of rooms on this property. I chose to accept the higher rate due to location. Not good."
