Wonderful stay with good service. Green season traffic growing year by year which is good to see. Breakfast is fantastic, though dinner capacity can be increased as it was fully booked but restaurant was not fully occupied.
This is an amazing resort to stay as the condition of the resort is very well maintained and the staffs are all very helpful and friendly when u need assistance.
The ski rental shop located inside the resort also provide very good services and assistance.
Breakfast provided is also very good as there are lots of variety of foods.
However do be aware that the resort is located at the end of the slope so the walk back to the resort after dinner/outing if you r not driving or taking the free shutter can be quite tiring for the elderly.
Parking at the resort is also not free/cheap as it range from 5000-7000yen/day depending on which carpark u like to park.
Skye Niseko is a wonderful property with aesthetic interiors and excellent outside views. We stayed in the My Yotei view studio room and the room was a very good size, with a fully functional kitchen (all utensils available) and a nice bath and toilet combo. The views were great and so were the breakfast options. Also booked the private onsen a couple of times, and it was very well maintained. My only concern during the stay was the insufficient house keeping, where the replenishment of toiletries were missed out, room wear was not replaced or folded for re-use, and tea/coffee replenishment was also missed out. Otherwise it was a great stay and would totally recommend!
Very nice rooms and amenities, breakfast was excellent! I will recommend this place. Some improvements are1. hallway temperature is way too warm, shower water pressure is poor even after their attempt to fix in one of our 2 bathrooms. Entertainment system is Apple-based without any Android options. The screen mirroring performed poorly with only music. The worst experience is prior to arrival. The reservation team refused to change my 5-day reservation to move one day earlier without charging me $560 to make the change!! I contact them more than one month prior to arrival. Money was more important than good customer service. It's very unfortunate.
Almost perfect… except the Onsen, which is a key component of any ski holiday in Japan. The onsen was fantastic and we used it twice a day. However it was largely ruined by Chinese guests who disrespected Japanese culture - and all other guests using the onsen by getting straight into the bath without washing first. We were not the only guests who felt this. The signs and instructions for onsen use were in Japanese and English only. Need to have signs in Chinese too.
Rooms are fitted with new amenities and there were amenities available for cooking in the room . Bathroom floor was heated which is bonus in winter . However, rooms lack proper makeup space, full length mirror plus bathroom mirror was rather high which is definitely a down side for petite individuals. Housekeep can be improved as we found strands of hair on the bed and toilet upon check in .
