"Room was clean. Patrons were running in the halls woke us at 1:23 am the first night. Second night at 5 am people yelling in the halls. Not sure we would stay there again as our sleep was disturbed both nights!"

"Such a sweet spot, so glad we were able to get a reservation. Wish we'd been hungrier and didn't have breakfast plans , but we did check out the offerings and they were lovely. And the community space was perfect as well, and the opportunity to grab a coffee, tea, cookie, yogurt etc at any hour was appreciated! Thanks for a memorable stay. We'll be back for sure."

"I love staying at Hotel UMass. The hotel lobby is nice and inviting with a fireplace and coffee and cookies. Staff is always friendly and the rooms are very clean and modern. Love the walkin shower and glass door."

"Pros…location right off the Mass Pike and 10 minutes from downtown Springfield. Looked modern, and was very clean. Staff was nice. Cons…paper thin walls. The guests around us were loud but it was a Saturday night and probably enjoyed some beverages but they weren’t obnoxiously loud, we just heard everything through the walls. Every laugh, every word, and worse every hacking cough. I wish I spent a little more and stayed at the casino. The breakfast was an average chain hotel buffet. Not bad, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, pancakes, and cereal. Coffee was good. If you’re under 30 and just want a place to crash for the night it’s probably fine. I wouldn’t bring my family or stay for business. "

"Probably was misleading about amenities! I signed up for a swimming pool which is picture and made to look indoor but in actually was an outdoor pool that was closed. The beds were broken and slanted in the rooms. Bathroom was smelling really bad as if it was just used before we came in. The worst place I've ever stayed in I felt embarrassed that I had my children with me"
