I found the whole properties facilities being good and not hard to access, I would say put something more in place for the cars up at the cabins as some had more vehicles than suppose to and also have a system that better makes other guests know to stop being noisy and also the cabin I was in the door kept jamming which made it hard to lock. I didn't like there were cobwebs and spiders on the roof an no vacuum or broom offered if your there for longer than 3 days. Plus beds were dusty on the top bunks. Suggest to have a better airflow for condensation.

Patchy reception onsite so purchased Wifi which ended up being terrible. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, bathrooms were poor and was quite noisy.

room doesn't look like the photo sent to me kind of disappointed there but view is nice and the place is peaceful.

We never got there as the function got cancelled through illness and our money wasn't refunded as we hadn't cancelled by the 10th February 2024 which is terrible as other accommodations offer a much better cancelation time frame I will never look to book there again and will tell people. Its time Opal Springs moved with the times .I gave 24hr notice of my cancelation so they were able to sell it on.

I unfortunately disagree. You booked through Expedia and they are very efficient at letting you know things like cancellation policies. 24 hour notice would be hard to resell even if we were situated in a busy city. People know weeks or months in advance that they are travelling, not the day before. I explained this to you on the phone, and you were fine with it. The room remained empty as expected, as we had no time to rebook it.

Cental to Rail Trail. The owners seem to have done alot of work on the grounds and working their way up the list of priorites & improvements for an older establishment. Although the rooms are tired but they are clean, and tidy & contain all of the necessities. Good linen, comfortable beds & pillows & all the cutlery crockery expected.

Very nice unit, all very clean. The choice of different pools is great (a big one at 28 degrees, another smaller at 37 and an even smaller one at 39). The only downside is that they only open at 9.00am and the check out is at 10. But otherwise, great place to stay :)

Pools were great, thats about it. Cabins were terrible, brown water that was disgusting, leaks everywhere, bathrooms need upgrading. The deck out front is very unsafe for toddlers. No phone reception, had to pay for wifi. Rubbish stinks right in the middle of everyone. The mattress, we couldnt even sleep on it, it had springs poking out everywhere. Will never be going back. 😢

Second time staying. Well maintained campgrounds with good clean facilities the bonus of heated mineral pools. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We will be back again in the future.

Had a simple Cabin, not a motel. Came bak to find theyd been in to empty th Bin!? How much rubbish did they think we had accumulated in 1 night? We had a lot of stuff lying around so wasnt impressed!. Flooring is shocking in th shower bathroom area. Definitely wear jandals in th shower.

Beautiful park and Motel. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot pools hence why we chose to stay here. Unfortunately tv didn’t work as aerial was broken and heating in the motel was quite insufficient. Nevertheless we would absolutely one hundred percent stay again because the beds were comfortable our room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Jug, toaster, cutlery serve wear. And the pools are just Devine!!

Overall a good stay. Room was clean and comfortable. However the shared toilets/shower was old and rather grimy. So we bath in the shower block instead. Expedia was not great though. First the listing was incorrect - the room did not have a bathroom at all as stated. -second when we wanted to change and upgrade the room, I assumed I would be paying a little more. I did not ask for a refund but rather an upgrade so was willing to pay more. Instead they were planning to cancel the payment for that room and made me pay for another room which means I am paying for 2 rooms instead. When is an upgrade considered a cancellation? Apparently Expedia thinks so. This is the 2nd time I had a rather bad experience with Expedia. I suppose this means I should be wary of it in the future.

It was great; easy parking, nice staff, clean room. Very comfortable bed, pillows and bedding. Decent shower, full oven/stove, lots of TV channels. Amazing onsite facilities; recycling, clothes washers and dryers, barbecue, playground, office shop. The Ramaroa pool was so nice I want to keep it secret, don't tell anyone ok?

So you rate us 1 out of 5 because you disagree about us charging you for your 2 children! I spoke to Expedia about this also and their response was that "Of course a guest needs to pay for their kids" and apparently they contacted you about this also. You being a keyboard warrior and giving a bad review because you are a tight ass is despicable. Maybe try having less children and wear a condom.
