It's a small hotel that's close to dotonbori but not so close that you get all the traffic or noise. Everything it's near that includes metro and train to go to Nara. Clean rooms and all-around great choice

We had an excellent comfortable stay. The room was larger than usual Japanese business type hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Frnt counter staff is very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Location is very convenient

Great location and staff. If you have kids, they are free of charge for 6 years and under. Anyone older will have to pay an additional 4000JPY a night. I learned the hard way, even though I listed my kids age while booking

Very friendly and helpful staff. Decently sized room. The room kind of had a dirty water smell. Would go away when we used the showers, however it would return when we would be out for the day and return in the evening. Station is nearby so accessing the rest of Osaka is easy. Dotonbori is a short walkable distance away. A family mart is down the street.

Sarasa Dotonbori ended up being a great choice for our family to stay in Osaka. The rooms are large (for Japan) and well-presented. Rooms are not cleaned daily (staff inform you as you arrive) but fresh towels etc are available from the front desk upon request. Location was good, close to the action in Dotonbori and Kurumon Market. Nippombashi station is a short walk away too. Some good local Japanese restaurants nearby (try the Okonomiyaki place on the corner!) and lots of Chinese restaurants that seem to cater to tourists and tour groups. The local convenience stores are always great too! Recommended!

Review for Sarasa Hotel Dotonburi

Our stay at the Sarasa Hotel Dotonburi had some positives but also notable drawbacks. Positives: • The rooms are spacious. • Check-in went smoothly. Negatives: • The rooms were dirty, which was particularly unpleasant due to my sensitive skin. • We found toothpicks, peanut pieces, seaweed, and other rubbish under the bed when we tried to move the beds together for our two kids. • Despite only staying for two nights, the lack of cleanliness left a poor impression. Location: • The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the station. Overall, while the room size and check-in process were good, the cleanliness issues were significant enough that I would not return to this hotel.
