The staff was friendly and courteous, but the hotel was in bad need of an update. Stained carpets in the hallways and rooms (we had 3), cracked and stained sinks in the rooms, and scuffs on the walls. The rooms were extremely cramped and it was impossible to do anything without being on top of each ...

The hotel staff worked diligently with Expedia to help process a one-night refund for me due to the severe weather conditions. I truly appreciate the effort and coordination required to resolve this. Thank you for your excellent service.

The place is wide and if you travel with children they can enjoy the bathtub and the spacious place.

Fantastic
Nice view of canal though it’s very short. Interesting shops along the walking street. Great sweet cafes! The music box museum is more like souvenir shop. About a half day should be enough time to explore Otaru.
