"The hotel is at a great location. Our room was clean and spacious, had a fantastic view of the canal. Hotel room amenities were great. Check in was slow. When tired after a long trip the lobby could be cleaner and more welcoming with seats. The first impression of the hotel is not good but the room was quite clean and spacious. Amenities great, nice coffee shop downstairs and very close to train station."

"Hotel was clean but old. Few plug ins in room, one window with view of rooftops, super small tv, internet worked, but overall an underwhelming experience for the price. Best thing was location. Centre odd old Amsterdam and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, Staff was helpful. In hotel breakfast was not utilized but seemed expensive and lots of bakeries minutes away."

"It was not a great experience. The bathroom had a really bad smell and several times it reeked of weed in the entire hallway and into our room. Glasdoor between bathroom and the bedroom without the possibility to turn of the light your self (it was a sensor) made it also really bad."

"The staff were great. Our room was disappointing for the price. The blinds kept opening on their own in the middle of the night which we told staff about but it wasn’t fixed. Sauna was nice, but steam room and hottub did not work. Overall it was fine."

"We did not have breakfast at the restaurant. The location is nice. The rooms were clean. The staff are friendly. However, they made a mistake and charge me 3 times for the hotel fee instead of the 2 rooms that we booked. I have written them and waiting for their response."

"Pro's: Clean, Quiet, Helpful Staff, Close to train station meaning easy access to/from Schipol airport and to/from Amsterdam Central. Easy self check out. Con's: Poor TV selection and connection, when you're finished and want to decompress, you'll be pressed for luck. No streaming services so take a firestick. TV only had Chromecast."
