"Visited over Labor Day weekend, 1st time we stayed at this location. Check in was fast & we were able to check in early. The room was clean & had everything we needed. The pools were great as well. The lazy river is fun if you are traveling with kids as that side is under 21yrs. The swim up bar area, hot tubs & other pool area is 21yrs & above which is great for those who choose to be around adults. The casino is nice & food selection is good making it great so you do not have to leave the premises. If you go for the lazy river bring your own floaty. The hotel sells them but are a bit pricey, stop at Walmart before you arrive at the hotel. I would return it’s not too far from LA making it a nice weekend getaway near the winery’s."

"The facility is quite old and though it's been updated, its age shows. The walkways.were not especially clean. Though we were there for a week, we did not use the common areas so I can't comment on them though I entered the dining area briefly on the last day and it seemed clean and pleasant. Our bed was too soft for me, but I have a bad back and ideally need a firm bed, My husband was fine with the bed though. I was able to try another bed, but it felt the same. I really appreciated that the room was cleaned every day. Even the shower curtains were laundered (at least between guest stays). So my impression was that the rooms were kept very clean (I briefly observed a maid cleaning the room next to us and she was washing down even places that hands may have touched, like door frames and knobs) and the staff was very helpful and kind."

Motel 6 Temecula, CA - Historic Old Town

"Good basic accommodations. Pretty bare-bones, but room was clean, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable. Stayed Sat/Sun night and it was quiet even though the interstate is pretty close by. No fridge or microwave, unfortunately. No shampoo, either. Like I said, real basic. Lots of free parking and the spots are on the larger side. Entry door felt pretty secure and the property and neighborhood felt safe. I did not see any questionable folks hanging around the area. The biggest pluses are the close proximity to Old Town Temecula, just a few blocks away, and the bargain price compared to other properties. The only complaints I have are that the sink faucet was VERY low flow and the ice maker usually ran out of ice (likely from people filling up coolers). I would gladly stay here again for a couple of days (not longer) myself, but my wife would probably prefer something a bit nicer."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Carlsbad - Legoland Area

"The clerk when we checked in was not friendly at all, but everyone else was. The rooms are starting to be updated (floors and paint). However, the furniture and the showers are old. Our room also had a horrible musty smell. The breakfast offers a lot of options and was good. For the price and location it is well worth it."
