The hotel is hidden on a side street, just off a very busy street. So it’s quiet but very centrally located. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and opened onto a Juliet balcony overlooking the side street. The flowers in the window boxes were very cheerful! The bathroom was large and modern, and the rain shower great. The breakfast room where they take your order and serve you is lovely. And the staff…the staff! They are incredibly warm and helpful. Andrea and Alicia gave us a map and helped us plan out the best walking routes to take, calling out the sites that truly warranted a visit. For instance, rather than suggest we visit 10 chiesas, they called out Santa Catarina with the roof deck, convent, and homemade connolis, using original recipes. These were hands down the largest and most delicious, made to order connoli we’ve ever had. Not to be missed! They also recommended places for dinner and rooftop cocktails, and made our reservations. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we would happily stay here again should we ever return to Palermo!
