"The air conditioning in the room we were first assigned did not work at all. The hotel knew about it since maintenance arrived before we called. We were moved to another room where the air conditioning was on full and would not turn off. We called maintenance who fixed a valve problem while we went to dinner at the hotel. The food was great but our bill included a drink we never ordered. The waiter apologized and corrected the error. The wing of the hotel to which we were assigned appears to be older and needs a refresh. The main hotel areas and facilities are very nice, including a popular pool area, lobby, and fitness room. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of downtown Palm Springs and across the street from a casino. Be aware that the hotel charges $30/night for self parking."

"The different colors make the hotel look pretty but when you take a closer look, it’s kind of dingy. There was hairs on our bathroom floor and on the toilet, our AC unit was leaking water onto the floor and onto the bed so we had to change rooms in the wee hours of the morning. The website did it include that there is a drag show so it’s not a very kid friendly hotel. While trying to have breakfast in the restaurant on property next-door was the drag show going on and it was so loud that you couldn’t even sit and talk with your family.."
